  1. Past hour
  2. We need him now, none of this for summer shite
  3. Matt Law saying Chelsea will try again this weekend to sign Jacquet immediately and the player's preference is to move to Chelsea now.
  4. Not at all. It will come down to Newcastle or PSG mostly and I'd happily take Newcastle.
  5. I personally hope we don’t play any PL at all in the UCL. Just kind of boring. At least until the Final if we were to make it all the way.
  6. Today
  7. Nah, that’s literally what they’ve agreed to pay!
  8. He has not scored a goal from open play this season in the league and they are getting relegated. Palace are obviously desperate but they should be able to negotiate that fee down.
  9. He took a discounted pay-out, per BBC: https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/articles/cm2yp21zjzqo Raheem Sterling has left Chelsea by mutual consent after reaching an agreement to end his contract early. The 31-year-old had 18 months remaining on his £325,000‑a‑week deal. Sterling leaves after three-and-a-half seasons at Stamford Bridge following his move from Manchester City for £47.5m in 2022. Sterling will receive a payout from Chelsea, while the club will save money as the settlement will be less than the figure of over £20m he would have been paid had he stayed for the remaining year and a half of his contract.
  10. £50m for Strand Larsen to Palace. Fucking hell! I couldn’t tell you one thing he’s ever done and he’s going for £50m!
  11. Moises Caicedo for me is a lot like N’Golo Kante in terms of style of play. Let’s be…View the full article
  12. A Chelsea supporter has described his "shock" after being stabbed and taken to hospital before Wednesday's Champions League match against Napoli in Italy. Marcus, 22, who did not want to give his surname, said he and a group of Chelsea fans were targeted in the centre of Naples by a group of Napoli 'ultras' - a term used for hardcore supporter groups in European football. "We turned a corner - it wasn't technically an alleyway, but it felt like one because there were no lights," he said. "There were about 20 or 30 people, all in black, walking towards us as soon as we made eye contact. Some people knew what was happening and ran straight away." Marcus, who was with "seven or eight" friends, added: "It was definitely a shock. Everyone was shaken up when we eventually found the police. "I was in shorts and they were covered in blood, with blood going all down my leg. We think it was a screwdriver – it could've been a Stanley blade. It was either that or a screwdriver. "I didn't really feel it until I started running away. My left cheek felt heavy, almost, and as soon as I touched it my hand was covered in blood Italians usually stab in the arse or legs, it carries a lesser sentence
  13. I would have sold him or just shredded his contract in atleast 7 separate occasions during his Chelsea career.but him and Penders pushing him next season I'd be glad to see.Jorgensen has been pretty good in his recent games too but writing just seems on the wall.i wouldn't be against loaning Jorgensen before selling as think he could boost his price tag elsewhere first.
  14. Solid few games after the Arsenal blip. He’s far from mediocre and we could go with Penders, Sanchez next season I reckon
  15. Yesterday
  16. Mutually terminated should mine one thing, both agreed to terminate. No benefit for Chelsea to payout the contract, by Chelsea holding it til now forced him to terminate to play. Time was against him (so was the big contract)!
  17. The football definitely seems more pragmatic for now. I don't see us with a real identity in how we play, but less predictable which is nice. I'm seeing less of the side to side BS on the edge of the box that results in nothing when better opportunities down the middle are available.
  18. I'll say it again. JP is the closest thing to Drogba we've had. He can bully, he is good in the air, and he is great at getting the ball with his back to goal and blasting the ball towards goal. He is a fantastic player who helps the team function even when not scoring.
  19. CFC fans are chanting 'Chelsea reject' and 'you fat bastard' as Lukaku leaves the pitch.
  20. It's too early but he is doing ok so far.
  21. Hopefully not Newcastle just a bit dull we play them twice every season. Know not how it works...
  22. the surpise team (along with Spuds) that (besides Real's own loss) dropped Real out of the top 8 94th minute game winner that got them 7th place
  23. Ok I see how this is working now. What you said implies that if Madrid lose their playoff tie to Benfica, then Benfica assume Real's place as the highest seeded team coming out of the playoffs. Got it. Thanks
  24. Is that right? I thought we could not get Real or Inter come what may, and that we can only get PSG if both Real and Inter progress. The bottom line is I thought we are due to play the third highest ranked team (by final league phase placing) who survive into the last 16. Have I misunderstood how the bracket will work?
