  6. EXCLUSIVE - When Cole Palmer is expected back - return plans revealed https://siphillipstalkschelsea.substack.com/p/exclusive-when-cole-palmer-is-expected As reported at the time, Cole Palmer’s injury was more serious than what Enzo Maresca was saying and what was being reported. His injury was made worse by him being played again too soon and he went on and hindered the groin injury. At this moment in time, there is still no talk of any surgery, and Palmer is on his way back. Good News As per SPTC Sources, Chelsea have a return plan set out for Cole Palmer to get back into the squad. We can reveal that Palmer will be back on the grass doing individual training very soon and the plan at the moment is to give him 30 minutes against Burnley on November the 22nd, in a view for him getting his first start for the Barcelona game on November the 25th. Obviously I have to say that this is the plan, and sometimes plans don’t always come off. But right now, he is on schedule to make this and this is what they are planning to do with him. As long as there are no setbacks between now and then, or unless if his recovery goes even faster, this is when we can all expect to see Palmer back out on the pitch with Chelsea. Let’s hope things continue to go well so we can soon add Palmer back into the mix again. Let’s also hope that this groin injury does not reoccur again. It’s good to see that this time at least, they are letting it fully heal.

  12. He plays the same kind of neat, tidy football that Maresca likes to and want to press and dominate the ball. Difference with them compared to us is that Iraola’s possession based footy is more intense and aggressive whereas Maresca’s is slow and ponderous far too often.
  13. A lot of 'reporters' have posited that this week. Maresca to be sacked and replaced with Iraola. I usually look up these journos - funny they always support red teams. eg Joe Williams saying Maresca to be replaced is a Man u season ticket holder
  14. That's wild. Based on the matches so far., Haaland is dragging them up the table. They will still need a second player in their squad to step up if they want to keep pace with Arsenal, though.
  15. Despite them being behind, I have to say that I’m once again very impressed by how Bournemouth play. What Iraola has done there is incredible. If things go south for us the rest of this season and a change in coach is necessary he should absolutely be our top choice.
