We also could have to face Lyon if they somehow bollocks it up tomorrow

I do think we should walk through. Milan and Napoli are good sides but if we play at our best we should be able to beat them over 2 legs. It is our title to lose. Lets hope we get only one hard opponent tho so we can rotate more. Glad spurs and pool are thru in cl. Keeps their energy in europe and them out of our way in el

I would rather the scousers and spuds went through too, but UEFA stacked the decks with such shoddy groups. Every group but two had two clearly superior teams except the Spuds and Victimpool groups which each had 3 top 15 clubs in world (including 2 of the top 4) in and then you had the joke group D with Porto and Schalke and Galatasaray and Lokomotiv Moskow.

Something really needs to be done to stop that from happening. Porto is a horrid league (only twice in 85 years has a non Big 3 (Porto, Benfica and Sporting Lisbon) club won the league, Belenenses (1945–46) and Boavista (2000–01) and Schalke is horrid this season (3 points away from relegation zone) due to insane injuries (their top FOUR strikers are all out plus their starting RW) plus they sold both their starting CB's and have the worst fullbacks (counting Baba Rahman who is still carrying a knock) in the Bundesliga.

It was criminal to give them their own group and stuff 6 of the top 15 teams in the word into 2 others.
