  1. And? Do they only kill jews who "disrespect the Quran?" would anyone qualify? Last time I checked it's really the disrespecting. Not even mentioning the attacks on communicators and whatnot: like Salman Rushdie--remember his stabbing which left him scarred for the rest of his life. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islam_and_blasphemy
  2. So, at the very least, the free speech part is what they don't seem to be a big fan of.
  3. that was great press by Newcastle tho. And Arsenal D line has been very shaky today.
  4. Says the next cartoonists, or content creator, or whatnot, who is murdered for "disrespecting the Quran."
  5. 😆 nonsense... he was clearly referring to the quality of eggs.
  6. Yup he likely deserves a shot at an elite club, which brings my other point: Newcastle may have "elite" owners, but they are far from an Elite club; not only the lack of investment, having some very glaring weak links in their starting XI, but also the way they play. Isaak (as well as Gordon) thrive in that counter-attacking style, but it can be very different at a top club especially one which sees a lot of possession. Still, agree that he deserves that shot based on what he's been doing.
  7. sure. For the record I do agree his reading of the game is excellent as well, that's the mental aspect for me. I was referring to his linkup play, and ability to beat players in tiny spaces.... like Ronaldo 9 and Benzema used to do. I don't see that in his game.
  8. Yup. It's a very hard thing to grasp around here. Clubs and Managers NEVER criticize their players individually. They do everything in their power to increase their values to the market even if that demands lying. It's just business. Even criticizing the roster in general is risky for a Manager; it usually suggests the sack is near.
  9. Heh nothing special about his skill on the ball aside from the finishing -- he's absolutely a fantastic finisher and can strike the football like few players can, but his all-round game is unremarkable to me. Just hit the post and Newcastle scored in the rebound.
  10. yup not surprising... folks expect 19-20yo to come into the PL and deliver on their first season, but that's very rare and it really takes very special players especially in midfield positions. We hope Estevao is that special and not a CM eh.
  11. I am not a fan of his game, but have to admit the guy (Isaak) is on fire. Crazy good finish, but it did not count -- offside (against Arsenal for the Carabao Cup).
  12. The B sample rarely differs from the A sample," said an insider about Mudryk's doping. That's my understanding as well (from past cases).
  13. He's probably missing his Chelsea-sponsored early retirement already. 😆
  14. Another 19yo to help turn things around. We do need depth in midfield (especially with Lavia's issues), but boy we only seem to be able to sign the same player over and over again.
  15. true as well. Don't think they are mutually exclusive. It did not work so well against poor-form City. Jackson plays a big part in our game plan away from home -- he makes really great runs and plays well in counters. Without him, things might get more interesting. I really hope Filip is at least better than Sanchez, but honestly, I don't feel anything at the moment. It's way too soon considering where, against who, and how often each played.
