Ballancee 5
I do not know how much is true, but there were reports that Hiddink has denied Chelsea again to enter. Things get terribly complicated
Sheva. 5,373
I've not heard anything about that, only thing going around atm is he has denied asking anyone to sign Sneijder. And also said he has not spoken with us in 2 weeks.

Another option is to lie that would not be surprising. If you remember the story of Carlo Ancelotti before you come. He also denied have signed with us. This guessing it's not my taste more . Duppy Conqueror 1,533
i`d love to know who would be Plan B. i`d love to have Guus be our manager for the next say 2-3 years before moving up.but i would feel a lot easier if i knew who is the fall back option. (something i know we won`t find out at this stage i know) i have a feeling it may be a shock to us who it is..like the Grant hire was. maybe that former assistant manager of hiddink and hughes and current welsh assistant manager. can`t remember his name of the top of my head, but maybe him as coach with Guus the DoF picking the players, maybe even the team on match days and the other guy just coaching during the week and making tactical changes during games. ChelseaFanUK 1,014
Had much past experience with major football transfers, have you? It's never going to be as clear cut as that. It's only early June. There's plenty of time to get this deal, as well as others, done.my point is, for a guy who is meant to be the "main target" id of imagined Roman busting a gut to get him, and compared to previous dealings £4m is nothing. You'd expect him to stump that sum up in no time. The fact he's yet to pay a reasonable sum of £4m (in romans case) tells me maybe Guus is no longer the only target they're interested inLike I've said anyway before, I dont think this Hiddink deal is nailed on to happen, i can see him staying, or taking up DoF
Ballancee 5
If not Hiddink did not see who could come. The bad thing is that most coaches are no weak teams, and powerful are involved. Which makes the choice even more complicated.

Guest justin_3d
This Guus thing is getting frustrating. The club should do what i been saying for some time. The best choice for the job Marcelo Bielsa! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sblIPVn2IE&feature=fvstNot to mention that Bielsa would love to work with Alexis Sanchez, since he helped mold that guy while in charge of Chile. If Bielsa can do that for Sanchez, imagine for Josh, Kakuta and Sturridge?
skcollob 7
Just read in The News of the World,(well someone has to!),about Guus being Roman's chioce all along and that Grant,Scolari & Ancelotti were just 'stop gaps'.What a load of bollocks that paper writes, mind you, they also wrote,(not for the first time i've read this),that Carlo had lost the respect of the players due to it seams, the Ray Wilkins affair.Thing is didn't they do the same with Grant & Scolari?,and if Guus becomes the next guy in hot seat won't he go the same way?,what the feck is it with modern footballers and their do what we want attitude?.Sorry about that, felt like a rant was about to start!. Bloody expensive stop gaps...I dont think Carlo had anything to do with the Ray sacking they worked well together why on earth would he want to get rid of him and he looked lost without him..and why would the players loose respect when not down to him! Yeh he may have not fought for him but what could've have done.Jose tried and got sacked.gotta love paper stirring shit u..wish they'd move on elsewhere instead of focusing on us..still the way the club is doesnt make it easy to stay out of the media spotlight
zolayes 14,489
It has come to our notice that some fans are concerned that we have not appointed a new coach . Further some are suggesting we have no idea ,and just waiting for something to happen . Nothing could be further from the truth . Perhaps now is the time to let the fans know of our revolutionary experiment . I t is 3 weeks now since Carlo was sacked ,In that time we haven't lost a SINGLE game ..moreover we have sold 3 players bringing in revenue . We haven't bouught ANYONE ..If we maintain this record we will set a blueprint (see I have a sense of humour ,,,that I thought was very punny). But to return to more serious matters . We intend to continue this experiment until September by least by which time that annoying transferwindow will close. We are hopeful we can sell or loan out more of our players. We are delighted to have broken into the German market andare hoping to expand our sales to Italy and Spain .Finally we are delighted to announce we have sold TWO more Torres shirts and One Kalou away strip. As you can see the future of your club is in the safest possible hands K T F ...in your board and especially me.Ron Gourlayps keep buying our merchandise ,,,look for details on our dedicated web site

Hiddink has other commitments at present and is under contract with the Turkish FA, therefore there needs to be an agreement between all parties. I believe there will be talks held early this week.
