LDN Blue 7,903
That's why it's not viable. If it even had a capacity of 10,000 more, I'd say it's worth it, but that's purely from a location and atmosphere standpoint. Wembley is so far away from Stamford Bridge, I can see it being a pain to get to, and it just feels awkward to use Wembley as our home for so many games. If people aren't happy with the atmosphere at Stamford Bridge, I can see it being a library at Wembley just due to the sheer size of it. I hope I'm wrong. You're completely right. However, Wembley is about 15 minutes away from my house, so I'm sorted for 3-4 years OhForAGreavsie, Viper22 and kmk108

kmk108 1,186
Might be because they, the FA, have nothing to do with the actual Premier League fixture list. Would the FA have to do something about it if Fulham aren't in the Premier League? But right. I didn't know it was all on the Premier League for the fixtures. LDN Blue 7,903
So who is responsible for the fixtures? The Premier League themselves. They have their own body who does this.http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/jun/15/fixtures-premier-league-football-league-compiled
kmk108 1,186
Unrelated to Stamford Bridge, but the NFL just agreed to play a minimum of 3 games a season at Twickenham starting in 2016. I'm sure that will get the Rugby-only people upset. It also shows that Twickenham won't refuse everything that isn't rugby.

Still likely though that there would be a lot more resistance to Association football being played at rugby HQ than about gridiron or anything else.More games they have, the more chance that Washington will come over so this is good news as far as I'm concerned. AFC want to return to their 'spiritual' home at Merton.Granted the hope of a return to Plough Lane, albeit down the road a bit from their original ground, is why AFC are selling but there is still Kingstonians isn't there? Aren't they likely to want to carry on using the ground and wouldn't that put moral pressure, if not legal requirement, on us to accept them as sitting tenants?
