English Freak 456
Actually, looking at the table and the fixtures, Sunderland WILL go down this season. just saw Sunderland's remaining fixtures...they are doomed. So it's pretty much Sunderland, QPR and Reading going back to the Championship...unless Wigan or Villa stuff up big-time. Mundaka 243
Flying atm? Before yesterday's game they lost 3 in a row conceding 8 goals. We need to just make sure we beat them. It will probably be the key game of the season. Well was looking at last few months before that they won 6 and 1 tie + i think their players were getting tired, 4 of those 8 were at EL tho and were quite unlucky in those pl defeats
Mundaka 243
Anyways i feel we gotta defeat them at home...
Ollie 4,400
Hoping Man Utd win the title at the Emirates too, that would be sweet and a bit of revenge for 2002. If our game against Yids is moved, it's gonna be interesting to see when it happens. It could be a straight shoot out for UCL football and what we did to them by winning the UCL last season, they'd be so motivated for that. I'd be worried. Strike 7,494
Wasn't just them though. Was basically the whole back then. Even Cole and Ivanovic during that season knows how to deliver consistent quality crosses. Now, one doesn't even cross anymore and the other, takes yonks to put a ball into the box! OR even when they do cross the ball, the quality of it is desperately lacking. also, the attackers used to flood the box. that is no longer the case. crossing issue coupled with that and we have a huge problem creating chances from wide positions. Rely too much on Mata - Hazard breaking through
Ollie 4,400
I really like this Villa team. If they stay up, they have the makings of a great future. They have the perfect manager and a lot of very talented young players, which their youth team is still producing now. Even if they go down, if they keep everything they can benefit like Newcastle did. Newcastle lost a few players when they went down but they kept a very good core. Bright future for this Villa side. If they stay up, i'll predict a top 10 finish for them next season. Their players have gained priceless experience this season.
Ankit 3,176
Chelsea (8) Arsenal (8) Tottenham (7)Sunderland (h) West Brom (a) Everton (h)Tottenham (h) Norwich (h) Chelsea (a)Fulham (a) Everton (h) Man City (h)Liverpool (a) Fulham (a) Wigan (a)Swansea (h) Man Utd (h) Southampton (h)Man Utd (a) QPR (a) Stoke (a)Aston Villa (a) Wigan (h) Sunderland (h)Everton (h) Newcastle (a) The match against Spurs is now a cliff hanger. If we lose that match, i don't see coming back to top 4. Hopefully Spurs will drop points against Everton which might give some breathing space and then if we beat Spurs , that would open up a 3 point gap with a game in hand for Chelsea(Provided Chelsea beat Sunderland too). I expect West brom to nick some points from Arsenal having lost to West Ham and the them playing at home which will make us go 5 points clear of Arsenal again. Everton again hopefully will get a draw at Arsenal which will widen the gap further. The fact that Spurs and Arsenal both play 2 relegation threatened(Sunderland and Wigan for Spurs and QPR and Wigan for Arsenal) sides might work in our favor We only play Villa(banana skin) which might be safe at that point.I know it's all wishful thinking right now! But i feel positive that we can finish in top 4 unless of course there aren't any brain farts from the players of from the waiter. Ollie 4,400
We need to win 6 out of the 8. Whatever happens, at least it's exciting and it's what the neutrals love. It's what football needs, battles like these. And secretly, deep down, we love it really. Kezza and dave30

Special Juan 28,143
Gerrard was given MOTM again for his hard passing and 50 yard cross field balls.
Jase 43,479
and 1 more game...Yes but no guarantee we'll win it especially with it being Fulham away. And we still gotta go to Anfield. xPetrCechx
Ollie 4,400
Villa were ok, they played better than they did against QPR but just fell away a bit. If they play like that for the rest of the season, they'll be fine.

Jase 43,479
In the current form table based on last 6 PL games, Chelsea are in 13th having picked up only 9pts, which is the same as Villa and West Ham! Arsenal & Spurs have picked up 15pts and 12pts respectively from the last 6 PL games. Both record only bettered by Man Utd who got 18 out of 18. IF QPR win at Fulham tomorrow, they would have picked up the same number of points as Chelsea in last 6 PL games - 9 - & they're in 20th! xPetrCechx and Mundaka
