Liverpool released their backup goalkeeper Doni yesterday and today reports are emerging that the man has a heart condition and nearly died last summer. Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport also reporting that AS Roma knew about this when they sold Doni to Liverpool a couple of years ago but said nothing. That's absolutely disgusting, risking a player's life just to make more money on a transfer.

I think Doni joined Liverpool on a free transfer rather than him being sold.
