Citeh are going to win the league

That was, in my opinion, always likely to be the case. They do have their slumps, but they typically have long winning streaks that help them win championships.

Where are those individuals that were raving about this vibrant Arsenal side led by a mastermind in Arteta?

I've lost count of how many times Arsenal have been 1st at Christmas (normally a good indicator) only to throw it away.

2 times, but 3 times they came back to win when another team led at X-mas

Remembering the 14 times the team at the top on Christmas Day didn’t win PL title

1992/93 – Top at Christmas: Norwich, Champions: Man United

1995/96 – Top at Christmas: Newcastle, Champions: Man United

1996/97 – Top at Christmas: Liverpool, Champions: Man Utd

1997/98 – Top at Christmas: Man Utd, Champions: Arsenal

1998/99 – Top at Christmas: Aston Villa, Champions: Man Utd

1999/2000 – Top at Christmas: Leeds, Champions: Man Utd

2001/02 – Top at Christmas: Newcastle, Champions: Arsenal

2002/03 – Top at Christmas: Arsenal, Champions: Man Utd

2003/04 – Top at Christmas: Man Utd, Champions: Arsenal

2007/08 – Top at Christmas: Arsenal, Champions: Man Utd

2008/09 – Top at Christmas: Liverpool, Champions: Man Utd

2013/14 – Top at Christmas: Liverpool, Champions: Man City

2018/19 – Top at Christmas: Liverpool, Champions: Man City

2020/21 – Top at Christmas: Liverpool. Champions: Man City.

Arsenal have a great first eleven, but not a good enough squad, add to that they have barely had an injury or suspension and basically played one game a week, most players have played nearly every PL game and it’s catching up with them, they play like Liverpool did a couple of seasons ago 100 mph and pressing

Liverpool zoomed away and left us behind...6 behind 4th with a game more..hmmm

It doesn't matter how bad your defence is most of the time when you have attackers that can score, one of whom is among the best in the world.

Exactly. If Newcastle falter they're right behind them...which wouldn't surprise me as was written off for 4th last year and go there.

Must be nice to score...mean they've conceded 2 and scored 3..what even is 3 goals?! Such a rarity

Haaland replaced as City's PK taker? That's certainly one thing City don't have going for them.

I can't see Newcastle dropping down tbh. More chance of United with their injuries & recent form.

I would be fuming if I was him, as that pretty much fucks him going for the English top flight single season scoring record (Dixie Dean's 63 goals all comps, 60 (untouchable, the next highest ever in a major (top 10) European league is Messi on 50 in 2011-12) of those in the league, in 1927-28)
