Everton are so bad and hilarious. I know the work starts next season but ever since Ancelotti got in there, they have talked and talked about all their grand ambition of competing for titles and qualifying for Champions League but have been so useless on the pitch. Haven't even proven anything to suggest they will do anything meaningful next season.

Man. Utd 18/19

66 points.

Man. Utd 19/20 after spending more than 200m on AWB, Maguire, James, Bruno, Ighalo...

66 points.

They scored just one goal more with all the penalties so did not improve offensively at all.

But conceded 18 goals less and still finished with same amount of points.

But Ole is doing great job...

Think its been more of a deeper routed issue than their managers though. Players haven't been good or consistent enough. Think if he gets to get 4 or 5 good players into that squad they can push on a bit but I have to agree it will be a tall order if they finish top 6 next season which is probably where they want to be. Coleman came out and said players cant keep hiding behind managers at some point this season and that is spot on. They've invested heavily and have some good players in there and even some less good but more experienced ones who have really shirked any sort of responsibility.

The point is, if you're gonna shout from the rooftop about this and that, then you better perform on the pitch. Action speaks louder than words. Instead, Everton kept talking and talking but haven't proven anything and they have finished even behind Burnley!
