For me it actually makes sense financially. There is no rush for them and they clearly want Potch. I pray they dont get him... that would be a match made to marry.

Are you taking the piss? Which part of my posts did you not get?  Yes, I know they want to get someone in on an interim basis so they can buy themselves time to evaluate their options for the summer. If they had gone for someone out of job, someone from within the club or who's coaching a national team, then sure, that's normal. But no, they went for someone who's in contract with another club until 2021, borrow him until May and then give him back. This has rarely happened? For a club of United's stature to be doing things like this is embarrassing, regardless of the reasoning.

Seriously, they're borrowing him? HAHAHA

Yup. The Norwegian league season has ended but it will start again in March and Solskjaer will only return in May.

Quote

He has temporarily left his job in charge of Molde in his homeland and will take charge of his first game on Saturday at Cardiff, where he was sacked as manager in 2014. He had a spell as reserve-team manager at United between 2008 and 2011.

Molde have confirmed Solskjaer will return to the club in the summer after recently signing a new contract that will keep him at the club until 2021.

"The fact that Manchester United are asking Molde FK to borrow our manager is in itself an event and not least a statement of trust in both Ole Gunnar and Molde FK," Molde chief executive Oystein Neerland said in a club statement. "We are happy to lend Ole Gunnar, we wish both him and the club success.

Dean Saunders -you can take the cunt out of Liverpool, but can't take the Liverpool out of a cunt...saying how great a chance United have of signing Kante as he's unhappy at Chelsea. Must have missed the contract extension a few weeks back.

I see Dele Alli was hit by a bottle last night during the game. With Sherwood kneejerk reaction saying the OB should surround the pitch to stop things like that happening! TWAT!

Wonder wjat the media/FA will have to say about that!

Arsenal hunt bottle thrower after Dele Alli hit at Emirates

Seven arrests made at the game for public order offences

Manchester United players "got away with murder" and behaved "shamefully" towards sacked manager Jose Mourinho, says former captain Roy Keane.

Keane said it was indicative of modern players' behaviour, whom he says are "very weak human beings".

Mourinho was sacked on Tuesday, with former striker Ole Gunnar Solskjaer appointed caretaker manager until the end of the season.

"You would fall out with these players," Keane told BBC Radio 5 live.

"Players who turn up overweight, do not train properly and are not producing... For some to down tools, shame on some of those players.

"I am not Jose's biggest fan, but I can't tolerate footballers who hide behind agents, their pals in the media - it is a bit of a joke."

I am honestly not surprise with the appointment of solkjaer. He is pretty much there to please the fans and bring a different aura to that team. They are pretty much done this season. Some people said what happen if Ole won ucl, if he won ucl the way we won it, he will have the same problem as rdm.
