Pizy 18,985
I'm hearing Yaya's lazy ass is the lone deep midfielder for City today? Against the Spuds pressing? This should be interesting... Lets go, City!
CHOULO19 24,332
What are we hoping for here, guys? I'm really torn. A City win gives us the most breathing space before tomorrow, a draw is a point that neither would get but a Tottenham win probably means that City are definitively out of the title race. Not sure which would be best for us. Unionjack

Spurs are a much bigger threat this season. They are out of UCL, are more consistent than any other rival we have atm and are being lucky with(out) injuries. Also, thinking about it, Spurs winning at City would give them another huge psychological boost after the one they got by ending our winning streak. Leif 6,006
It's disturbing that Tottenham have had 3 of their best ever seasons in the last 5 years. Time to concede they're far better than Arsenal, their roles essentially reversed.
Leif 6,006
Watch Tottenham have their best season. Watch Liverpool have their best season. And watch us win it still, in an understated, expected fashion. As we should. Barbara

I understand your faith and passion, after Liverpool defeat today I also posted that we will win the league, but after some thinking we should still not fly that much...Imagine one error from Cahill for example on Bridge against Arsenal and referee mistake ( which would not be big news for us ofcourse) and we are screwed. Let's enjoy every single matchday until april, then we can start celebrating if the situation like today remains.
Pizy 18,985
Must be infuriating as a City fan this season. You see them perform like that and like they did in the first half against us and wonder why they can't play like this all the time. Like United, though, their finishing is abysmal. They have all these super expensive, high quality forward players and still struggle to score. It's kind of shocking and could mean that Spurs can easily pip them here. However, I doubt Liverpool will surpass their 84pt second place in 2013 with Brendan Rodgers. Nevertheless, I agree we will win the league! I find it pretty doable to win 11 out of 17 imo. Even if we lose a couple of big matches against City or Liverpool...

I find it pretty doable to win 11 out of 17 imo. Even if we lose a couple of big matches against City or Liverpool... 12 wins out of our last 17 remaining games gives us 88 points and in the majority of seasons that is enough. In order to get level with that, Spurs & Liverpool have to win 14 Games and draw 1 of their last 17 plus they have to play each other and three each of the current top six. Arsenal have to win 14 and draw 2 of their last 17 games and also play four out of the current top six including Spurs and Liverpool. That is a big ask for those three teams with the fixtures they have left. We also have to play Liverpool & Arsenal but more importantly have already played the current eight bottom teams AWAY from home. Whilst seven of them still have to come to the Bridge and will be fighting hard, I'd rather have tricky homes games against teams like that than playing away which all of the other three have various away games to battle with. The fact that none of those 8 teams is currently isolated and therefore not guaranteed to go down may work in our favour. Burnley,West Ham, United, Everton & West Brom away will be tough games for us but if results go our way, which is entirely possible, draws may not be an issue by then as every time we win from now on it puts huge pressure on the others. If we lose a few games it won't be a disaster and no reason to panic as we have built a sufficient cushion to weather the odd storm.
