We had a terrible season, and we won a couple of games in last games including a 2-1 against Spurs with two irregulars goals and the possibility of winning against MU today made people forget how bad is our season and how "good" is our squad.Weeks ago everybody here were saying that we are not good enough, suddenly this team became a good one and the season became a good season. This result show us the truth: 3 defeats in 3 decisive matches against Devils. In todays match we are playing like shit and United is the dominant side during all the game. If saying the truth hurt your feelings, I dont care.Dude you are missing the point here. We had a bad season, but we will finish 2nd/3rd. You were the loudest how we will miss CL next season.Before this game you were silent like an ass. You didn't even say the word of praise for the players.Now when we are loosing again you are the laudest here on this forum.If we end 2nd it will be a strong finish, and we can bounce back next season. And this isn't about Chelsea making a comeback, this is about Man United extending there lead. We had a good run, but it's over. Lets just fight for 2nd place, and hope for the best of next season. Carlo is playing the formation we wanted, and the personnel we wanted, ie. Drogba.We're being outdone by an average side who want to win this more than we do, and that's what hurts most. If we were 2-0 down having tried our hardest I'd say 'fair play' to United, but we're making them look good.Unacceptably slack performance, but in a way this is a blessing in disguise. If we were to win the league, it would merely be paper over the cracks. This season has shown we need a more competitive squad, and we need to spend in the summer. However, what this good run has shown is that we can still compete despite all the problems we've had, and win or (far more likely) lose today, I'll be proud of the way we fought our way back, yet still disappointed about a shocking first half performance which puts the final nail in the coffin.Lets go out and play for pride and at least play like CHAMPIONS in our final two and a half games of the season. Play for the shirt, play for the fans, and put up a fight.By the way, our fans have been superb today - as they have been all season. Keep the faith, this title race isn't over until the Fat Lady sings... and United still have to play two sides battling their way away from the relegation zone, while we're facing two sides with nothing left to play for. Absolutely pathetic. We're not seeing much of Ash due to Valencia sitting high up the pitch. We need to counter that somehow as one of our strengths is our wing backs.
