The only way he would do it is probably one near deadline date when MU still refuse to sell to us after we offered like £35-£40m then I think he might do it if we promise to pay it back for him as signing on fee. You can't talk to a player about their contract without permission of his current team and something like this would be too obvious to ignore. Johan Junior Cordice 4 Posted August 9, 2013 Share Posted August 9, 2013 Wayne Rooney in front of the likes of Mata, Hazard and Oscar would be frightening for any team; if the deal does go through it would be a weird feeling for me, because part of me hates Rooney for being a Red Devil; but I appreciate good strikers especially since we have struggled in that position in recent years. Rooney struggles last season but I must say I am intrigued by the prospect of him playing up front for chelsea..
