Can't say it enough. Let suarez go anywhere else. Yes, even if it's a direct rival. If we're going to pick up a striker we need one will be a good mentor and role model for Lukaku. I don't want our clubs future stars learning anything from suarez.

If next week Rooney play in the community shield and play well then it will pretty much confirm that he will stay, if he is on the bench/not in squad/bad body language means he wants to leave and we might be able to get him. If it was up to me, I would just offer £45m+ £5m add-on for Suarez now and finish that move off straight away. He is on around £100k atm, we can easily match that if not offer him £20-£30k more and it would still be a good price.

The only thing holding that Suarez move is his history of mental behavior and he is out for the first 6 matches if he is signed. But if Arsenal got an offer that is accepted, surely we need to jump in too?

Why on earth we need to jump in? Since when we give a shit about who Arsenal sign LMFAO.

Fabregas hasn't said he wants to stay at Barcelona either - does that mean he will sign for us?

The majority of people have forgotten one simple but very telling FACT. The only thing Rooney has come out and said is that he did NOT ask to leave officially or hand in a transfer request. When the media get the slightest glimpse of something like this they get the ball and run with it. They are so good at it now that they make us so confused we don't know what to believe. All you have to do is try and look at the facts. Rooney was very annoyed about this whole affair and even worried about what United fans will think. Is this the thinking of a guy who will leave the club? I don't think so.

How do you know he is worried? Has he said that? Or is it something you read in a paper?

UTD might get Fabregas, they have obviously been encouraged enough to go back with a 3rd bid, much like Chelsea have been.

No smoke without fire my friend....

No shit, he is playing for MU LOL. If he was playing for Everton and move to a team like Arsenal back then, you can be damn sure he would be some where else now. He is on £250k per week, he is not gonna go any where because no one could afford him bar a few clubs.

What part of your statement makes him a mercenary then? You think Lampard plays for love and a packet of hob knobs once week?

That is the whole point - it's all just paper talk. I do know one thing that is certain, and that is Moyes being close to the player most days being able to talk to him and get in touch with his feelings. He's apparently had a few proper chats with him too and wants to keep him. Isn't that another big indicator that he actually wants to stay? Put that with no transfer request, and you have almost a certainty.

As for your last point - I point you to Thiago Alcantara. The press had us as 'on the brink' of signing him - later the player himself revealed the two parties had never even spoken.

Was with my mate yesterday who's parents have a caravan on a camp site in benidorm and next doors caravan is owned by Wayne Rooneys mum and dad, and last week my mate was over visiting and happened to get talking to them, they told him that Rooney is joining Chelsea.

I believe you mate, I just don't believe Wayne's parents haha.. Its like when Cavani's family said "he is going to.. whatever" and it didn't happen.

If Rooney doesn't join Chelsea, I would be happy to see Lukaku banging them in for us this season.. he deserves the spotlight because he worked so hard under Clarke at West Brom, and he WILL be the new Drogba!

I'm not sure if Rooney will be a big hit anyway.. too much money for a player who just is not in the right mindset. He doesn't know what he wants.. his current situation is similar to what Torres was going through before he made the move to us from Liverpool.. alone and unwanted. We paid £50m for him, and in the 2 years he's been at Chelsea, he has never seen his best.

If we do sign Rooney, great! But there's too much negativity in his attitude... Lukaku, from what I've been reading, seems pumped up and ready! From that, I know who I'd pick week in week out!
