Fair enough, but I don't think it's fair to directly compare Rooney and Torres simply because Rooney hasn't played as the main striker this season as Torres has.

no he hasnt but its not like he isnt always in and around the box and in positions where he can score, If you completely ignore who Rooney has scored against this season you can say his stats are pretty decent but when you see where his goals have come from you can see its not all that impressive at all.

of course not unimportant! but not as impressive as it would have been had he got that brace against Spurs or United! still impressive though as Lamps is a CM.

I have got a horrible feeling that we are going to sign Rooney Just the timing of this whole thing makes me think we will, Rooney knows Mourinho is coming, He knows Chelsea need a striker, he knows the club are stupid enough to buy him! only thing is though i cant see us getting him for anything less than £40mil which is just a waste!
