I feel awesome! Finally I'm free, finished my compulsory military service yesterday. 180 fucking days, too many Chelsea matches missed. Time to enjoy the life again! B)

Good on you mate :) So in Finland it's 180 days? Did you get any rank? What was your specialty? Asking bcs I also finished military service though it lasted a year :D Was a combat medic, by rank I'm corporal, but medicine has always interested me so now I'm in med school and after finishing catastrophic medicine course ill get promoted to ensign - one rank below 2nd lieutenant.

I was just a jäger, specialised in mortars. Nowadays in Finland it's 165, 255 or 347 days, earlier it was 180, 270 or 362 days.

I don't wanna get on about my personal life too much, but... Come on, I didn't give my number to her, then she comes after me, texts me till 7:00 a.m almost everyday, invites me to some party, greets me with a hug and a kiss on my neck and then she's all about how she loves her boyfriend but she finds me great later?

Why didn't she leave me alone? I couldn't care less for her before she came talking to me and all. Argh. I don't get it.

like I said she gives women a bad name. Obviously something there is something not right in that relationship but you shouldn't drag others into your unhappiness.

The guys are right there are plenty of other women and you are better off with someone else!

In pain. Have a huge blister on my leg after saving my team's 1-0 lead at an indoor football tournament yesterday by kicking it from the goal line with a sliding tackle. Fuuck, that burns and the worst, it wets (hope you know what I mean). Couldn't sleep the whole night as I couldn't lie on my right side and everything is just wet it looks like I pissed my pants. :D

ouch, must have been a hell of a save! Make sure you keep that blister clean. My daughter had one on her knee from a save at an indoor game and ended up with a staph infection… nasty infection and the treatment was the the grossest antibiotic I have ever smelled. Best to keep it clean and get it healed.

Yes, it was, at least I saved my team the 5th place in that tournament, which isn't that great as there were 8 teams, but still. And I got a beer for it from our coach, lol. :D

Well, it still hurts and burns. Today, after two nearly sleepless nights from Saturday until today, and me realizing I couldn't reallly walk, because my pants were scratching the wound, I finally went to the doctor and I got a big plaster (is it the right expression?). I was certainly afraid of it being infected, because it looked really ugly, but it seems like it's ok. Can't do any sports until Friday and yeah, it's gonna be the hell for me, because I need sports, a week without football is a lost week, especially because I'm gonna write an exam on Friday and I need to take my mind off the school stuff sometime.

He must of been proud of you!

I am glad you went to see a doctor. Yes, in the British English "plaster" is the right term, however in the US we would say bandage or band-aid. Small differences in our wording sometimes. My kids go to a British school so I find their wording is changing toward the British manner of speaking, it only takes me off guard when it is words that have slightly naughty meanings in American English like when my daughter needed new erasers (in the UK they call them rubbers… not the same meaning in the US).

I hope your exam goes well and good luck in your next game. My daughter is the same way if she doesn't get enough sport during the week, she as if she has too much energy and has had no way release it and I think it also helps her process and prioritize her life.
