BluesChick 1,260
I see what you mean, but the truth of the matter is, my feelings for her are massive right now... we've been talking for a year and 7 months on skype and we both feel that the only way to advance is to meet up.. but the problem lies with the fact that Linda can't decide what she wants, and that she's just generally confused about everything. The strange thing, is that all this literally came out of the blue! Everything seemed to be going well... we were looking forward to next month, until she told me about a huge phone bill, which dented her chances of coming to London to see me, and since then, it's been panic stations Chris, my guess is that she is nervous about meeting you in person. It is one thing to talk to someone (even via skype) and a whole different thing to actually meeting them. I do agree with the guys, long distance relationships are so very hard. I know a few people who have made them work, but they have to both put in a lot of time and energy to make it happen. I wish you the best of luck!I am tired and mentally drained! Steve 10,227
Chris i did distance also for a while. I met a girl from Canada when i was in Europe and i can tell you its the hardest thing i have ever done. I was in love with this girl and the only reason it ended was because of the distance. Unless one of you are planning on moving for each other its not worth the time because it will just end up in heart break. I can tell you that from my own experience anyway.I am not saying this to be a jerk or anything. If i could be with this girl i would be no doubt but it just got to hard and was too much strain on both of us, but i wish you the best mate. warnie_666 1,081
If I was in London I'd hit the bars and chat up girls and find one for myself. It's trial and error and you never know you might just meet the girl of your dreams.Believe me. I never believed in love at first sight and I met this eastern european chick at a club who just knocked me out with her looks. I chatted with her and she turned out to be a man u fan in England and a barca fan overall( glory hunter? Yea that's what I thought). We hit it off cus we have so many things in common like soccer, and talking politics. We have been on a few dates and let's see how it goes in future. Santiago 15
Folks, these distant relationships are so hard to keep, if you can keep for much time, you're a hero! Everything is more difficult if you are far away. Most of the couple problems can't be solved with a kiss or a hug, but, at least, forgotten for a couple of hours. warnie_666 1,081
Fucking knackered!!Note: playing soccer after two years.Joined a soccer league for winter. Thought I can get some match practice by playing some practice game. I generally run 6 miles on treadmill and thought my fitness level should be good.15 mins into the game I was on my haunches gasping for breath while my eart was pounding so hard I thought I would have an heart attack. It was 30 mins each half. By the time the game was over I barely managed to walk back to my car.Today my thighs, and calfs and heels are all hurting real bad

Santiago 15
Sleepy, 01:36 and yet awakened. Thinking in Ivanovic playing against Blackburn. I guess I will have a blue dream. termninja 5,290
A bit scared.I played football yesterday and I fell right on my right shoulder. My collar bone (which I injured back in july) started to hurt and at first I thought I broke it again. Then I went to the hospital and the doctor moved my arm around and touched it a few times. He said it was nothing and that I need to careful more. But now it hurts when I move my arm sometimes and it's scary. I don't want to spend another month tied in a 8 knot sling and miss from school. If it continues to hurt for the next few days I'll visit the doc again.
