ack17 205
Bring a SAF style manager and that is chelsea need. The role of Director of Football, Director of Sporting.... bring nothing else than in-fighting.
Madmax 9,219
He could do worse than that. If true, it paves the way for Guus to take over when Carlo's contract expires.
jeannie 6
Dare I add it? I think we need a Daglish! Before anyone loses the plot..........................What that guy has done in weeks speaks volumes! Just my opinion guys!
neel 257
Steve Clark should get the credit for that
jeannie 6
Sure! After Hodgson's reign, between the pair of them (Clarke and Dalglish) we have to realise they appear a different team.
Swoopz 183
The only thing better than having Guus replace Carlo, is Guus working WITH Carlo. This would be absolutely brilliant.

He was manager of the year the season before,he got Fulham to the Europa final. Then they sack him after 4 months.Disgusting.You can't sack managers you have to give them 5 years minimum before realising they're useless. LDN Blue 7,903
Question is, will they work well together? Though if Hiddink is taking over from Arnesen's role, then hopefully we'll see more youth emerge into the first team
spuz 143
I want Guus to replace Carlo ideally, until the end of the season.Guus has unfinished business in the CL,he was unlucky where as Carlo (whilst unlucky with Samuel the rugby player) was still out thought by Jose. diskoviolente 425
Guus with Carlo is a brilliant idea, if you ask me.He might be something of an assistant manager, without actually being that.I can´t believe that people still are asking for Carlos head - go on and support a mid table team, they are sacking their managers like theres no tomorrow. But get a grip and think a bit deeper than just matchday in matchday out.As for Cuntish Daglish or what ever his name is: his latest succes comes all down to Steve Clarke. He improved their defensive work. The idea to play with three centre halves is probably his as well knowing how much pain Drogba and Anelka used to hand out to the Scum defense. They went and sacked some experienced guy that had coached all over Europe and was manager of the year. They haven't looked back since. Tomo 21,751
Guus with Carlo is a brilliant idea, if you ask me.Im not too sure myself. If they manage together eventully there will be an argument over (for example Hiddink thinks Alex should play this match but Carlo thinks Luiz) and the last time joint managing was tried in the premier league with Houllier and Evans look how turned out? diskoviolente 425
No i think he does good on his own, i thought of Hiddink more as a consultant so to say not as an assistant manager. Sorry, didn´t explained enoughHiddink knows the game inside out and got a good hand for new players i think

Styles 9,790
I would love it if Hddink came back. We went on a great run in the league when he was manager dropping just 3-4 points the whole time? He is so much better than Ancelotti it isn't even worth comparing.
