Mikel, pure class

for me its Ramires...............another brilliant performance by him.............i see a glimpse of Makelele in him........

sorry mate, no makalele at all, a superb box-to-box midfielder in every aspect, despite his lacking physical ability

See where you're coming from LDN -pretty solid, but he still seems s bit ponderous on the ball, which leads to panic stations at the back when he loses the ball.

Drogba for me -last night he was well up for it -and is, and will be a legend.

Drogba and Čech. The first has already been mentioned but the latter made some great saves again. Especially when he had to stretch his body to deny Taylor, it would have been 1-1 and then you never know how it could end.

I was impressed by Bosingwa. His attacking prowess is not quite as it was, but defensively he was magnificent yesterday. Drogba was brilliant, last night we saw the fire that has gone out of his game recently, whilst Ramires and Terry were also classy. Cech made some excellent saves and the way he commanded his area was brilliant, but for the sake of being different (and largely also because he was fantastic), Bosingwa wins my vote.

Yeah I know what you mean, usually his composure is great, like Josh's. Yesterday was his first game back from his injury so I think he was a bit out of touch. But none the less he's a very crucial member of the squad when he plays in that role - I think he does it better than Essien and that being said, I think the push for Essien to play alongside Lampard is great too, so it's really a win-win

  1. Drogba
  2. Mikel/Cech

Imo we have win thanks to Drogba. Without his marvelous early goal, the game would have been the same shit that we have seen for three month and we would have probably drawn or lost.

Mikel is our holding midfielder number 1, no doubt. And Cech made some crucial saves.
