Well I think the combination of Mikel, Ramires & Lampard has worked better in all honest - Mikel gives us extra protection at the back I reckon. & in a time where defensive fragilities are evident Mikel would've been the better option. Ramires has shown he can go on the attack too, and so has more freedom when Mikel sits deep. And Lampard plays well regardless of who he's with
