Ramires is in good form, Lampard simply wouldn't be dropped and Essien always seems to play well alongside those two...Well I think the combination of Mikel, Ramires & Lampard has worked better in all honest - Mikel gives us extra protection at the back I reckon. & in a time where defensive fragilities are evident Mikel would've been the better option. Ramires has shown he can go on the attack too, and so has more freedom when Mikel sits deep. Seen they're not playing well together at the mo and Strurridge played pretty damn good last week...ahhh Carlo what are you doing?!Even less confident now.Which is daft cause that line up should be capeable of getting the results but at the moment for whatever reason not the case!
