chrismada9 1,948
I'm pleased he's agreed to join us, but I really do fear about this "tapping up" affair, and that we could be reported to FIFA by Santos

Too selfish, shoots wayward, and doesn't perform well in big games.Anelka should stay and offer us experience.

- 25 - 167
Would be delighted if this deal comes off. We usually miss out on these top South American prospects, just hope Real or Barca dont come in after we've agreed a fee. Also there is still the work permit to sort out, probably accepted on appeal? Expect this one to drag on for another week at least.

BomTrett 50
Lampard will very much still be taking the pens if he does come haha But if he's handed in a transfer request, i assume that means we'll pounce on that and sign him

You'd rather wait 2 more years to sign him if that were the case!Only problem is, the better he gets with age, the more interest there will be in him, and we'll find it a lot harder to sign him. Jose M 140
Santos have already indicated that they would not be willing to part with Neymar for anything less than his release clause, and the club's president has reiterated that stance. "The clause is there," he told the Brazilian press. "If they pay it, they can take him." Abromovich has the money and Carlo has the Talent to make Neymar adapt to the premier league! http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=813820&sec=transfers&cc=3888
