Someone do me a favour?

Go and listen to Bun B's album from 2010 called "Trill OG".

I want someone to explain to me how this is rated as one of the greatest rap albums in history..

I mean, Bun B is one of my favourite rappers of all time, but this album feels rather mediocre to me. (It also has far too many features.)

I thought Trill O.G was just decent when it came out, was it 'the source' that gave it 5 mics?, if so.. they were clearly paid off.

Personally.. I'd give Rick Ross's album a 3, maybe 4/10.

Nas's album... a 6/10.

(Nas is one of my favourite artists of all time may I add.)

Here he basically talks about how whole system is corrupted. And that you have to find someone, who knows someone, you need to have a lot of connections, you have to eat a lot of shit to not be hungry.

And that's his new single:

He talks here that goverment says it's better to take pills than smoke weed. He says that goverment is afraid that people will know good sides of weed. You can buy cigarettes and alcohol, but not weed. He says that the plant is old 10.000 years old and that no-one died from it, and it isn't only good to be high. You can have it for food, clothes and medicals.

Lady Gaga will be featuring on Kendrick Lamar's debut album.

This could go either way imo, no idea how it will sound. I just hope Kendrick doesn't water down his lyrics or subject matter.

Wale managed to cover up when he did a track with Gaga, in a sense he made a ton of better ones so everyone forgot. Unfortunately for Wale, he's gone soft as sh*t when he signed for MMG. I hope KL doesn't go that way..
