Ah I still remember the video to this song, it's brilliant! Not many people know this but in this song with Bun B & Drake, the teenager you see walking up the stairs is Pimp C's eldest son. Drake did a good tribute in his verse.

Video of the year, loved the side story, and the rewinding of events towards Kendrick's acapella. So many shots/cuts that went perfect with the lyrics.

Not hip-hop per se, but the music should be very familiar. MC Hammer used the music illegally to create U Can't Touch This.

Nonetheless, a good song, but probably closer to pop/r&b than hip-hop.
