In Brazil, you need to take a test that has all subjects and each university apply their own test.I took 2:Unicamp: Phase1- 48 tests of everything and 3 essays; Phase 2- All open/written questions (12 Portuguese, 12 Math, 18 History+Geography, 24 Biology+Physics+Chemestry).USP: Phase1- 90 tests (all subjects); Phase2- 10 open questions of Portuguese, 10 of Math and 20 of Everything Else and 1 Essay).I think it is stupid. Why do I need to know biology for an engeneering school?I believe an unified test for everyone and only their desirable subjects is much, much better. I mean, I am only 1 year away from school and already feel the loss of beeing without any contact with subjects like History, Biology, etc.Specialisation brought us immense technological advance, but it has its flaws.
