So you will tell with a straight face that Inglorious Basterds was a great WW II movie? :carlo:

Since when did the Inglorious Basterds had the goal to be factually right? It is as if you argue that LOTR isnt good because Orcs dont exist!

For what the overall purpose was, it is one hell of a movie. It is not exactly about WW2, it is there only for some context (strong context, but still not the main focus of the plot). It has no intention to be verisimilar, the whole world is caricatured. Everything is a bit or very odd, including (and specially) the Basterds. The acting is good, the dialogues are even better and the sequence of events are incredibly smart (the smartest of stories and the ones that naturally follows its desired path without making the viewer think too much). There is nothing to not like about this movie, only if you dont understand the essence of it!

The problem with people that dont like Inglorious Basterds is because they are too narrow minded...
