At the risk of sounding too platonic, my attraction to a girl is usually related to how much I know and like her personality, I've never had a crush on a celebrity.

That applies to me also. But it is always nice to have some out of reach fantasies.

What about that Eva poster you have across your bed :Goober: or does she not count as a 'celebrity'?

I watch and re-watch Chelsea matches almost constantly, technically I've seen her enough times to know her very well. :P

In all seriousness I just jumped on the Eva bandwagon. Tbh, I don't think she's very attractive; don't tell anyone!

Gotcha! Initially I didn't understand why people were nuts about her, but I think I get it now.

At the University of Queensland they offer:

Chinse (They don't specify whether it's Mandarin or Cantonese)

French

German

Indoenesian

Japanese

Korean

Russian

Spanish

Classical Languages ( Latin, Ancient Greek)

Which should I learn? I'm leaning towards French or Spanish.

If they don't specify then I'm 99% sure it's Mandarin.

Learn the one you're most fascinated by, I guess. If it was me I'd learn French. Spanish & German are interesting too. Not really a fan of Indonesian/Japanese/Korean/Russian as they aren't of much/any use.

For me I'd learn the one that would be of most use. i.e Not Latin or Ancient Greek, unless you want to learn a language that was used 2000 years ago.

Probably Chinese or German.

I guess depends on what you want to get out of it. Expanding career opportunities, common interest, or you want to talk to your mate without anyone knowing what you're saying.
