Ramires

Thing is, Ramires does have the basic attributes to play out wide. He's got the pace on most PL fullbacks and he's got the stamina to match it too. Unfortunately he suffers a sever lack of concentration when it comes to passing a football.

For the life of me, I don't know how Mourinho hasn't made Ramires stay back in training to practice passing a ball

Technical skills are something you either have or you don't, Rami probably tries, it probably bugs him a bit aswell that he isn't very good on the ball but no amount of training will improve someone with such a bad touch.

I agree mate, but passing a football is the minimum you expect from a professional isn't it?! We're not asking for a magical 40-yard Gerrard-esq pass but even a simple through ball is beyond his capabilities. And you can argue he does have enough technical ability to dribble.

I think he has plenty of technical ability.

You can't do this

without it.

He looked like he would be Joses no1 on the teamsheet, now the last few seasons have been average for him, more yellow cards than goals/assists,injuries etc, think if he dosnt get back to that level again.Sell and upgrade needed.

Even through all that he was still half an inch, at most, from being onside and putting us level with Manchester City last month.

I still view him as good enough to be here

Not even a knee-jerk reaction but it is actually ridiculous the amount of people who were saying he should not be a part of this squad. He offers something different as shown today and he is a vital member of this squad. Changed the game.

thats the point of players like rambo and i would even put moses in the category.

they dont give you the best football, but atleast they try. they run, they show passion on the pitch and actually play their hearts out.

Even though Ramires is frustrating to watch at times, the one thing you can't fault him for is commitment/desire, which happens to be something that most of the pussies in the squad doesn't have.

This is what all teams need. Costa usually does it, but not in every game and he is banned right now.

Kenedy also has shown this quality whenever he comes on. I hope he starts vs Porto.
