For me, this is the best move the board could've made. Robbie deserved another chance, but I wouldn't rush in with a long contract, since he is still to prove to everyone he is the full package because the work that needs to be done at Chelsea requires a really good manager and we just can't allow ourselves to sack another manager or take a risk. Maybe there just weren't any other good options for Robbie at the moment and he's trying prove himself to the board during this one year and if he succeeds then his future is guaranteed.
