Slam Dunk 1,442
I, for one, won't be judging his management abilities in these games. There's nothing much he can do to change things.
Changingman_2000 876
It'll be interesting to see what Robbie does with Drogba, Kalou, Malouda and Meireles. We have had one good season out of four from Malouda and I've said on here before, They should all have been punted last summer. As far as Meireles is concerned, I think he was only brought in to back AVB, Portuguese and all that. He has been truly pony.
Henri 115
Gotta give him a change. But the most important reason why he might succeed is the playernow has to act!. They gotta prove that Boas was the main reason for there failure.
Sheva. 5,373
Why not just appoint Rafa now? what's the point in delaying the inevitable.
LDN Blue 7,903
They'll walk all over him. Welcome back Lampard, Malouda, Kalou.
Bosnian Blue 2,471
I do feel this could be a short-term positive shock for the team. Can see us winning next two games maybe.

LDN Blue 7,903
Do you guys believe he will really remain to the end of the season? Nope. I expect the club to hire something within the next 2-3weeks if I'm honest. We had this after Scolari, Butch took over for a game or 2, then came the mysterious Hiddink. Ollie 4,400
I think he'll be respected and i think we'll do ok. He's done the management stuff before, he has more experience than AVB too lol he's not a rookie. We can't be any worse than we have been since that Arsenal game which started the misery of a season. He'll stake his claim for the job i reckon, he'll certainly try his best. I can see him changing some things.
FranklyFrank 103
Hopefully di matteo will try things. I can't see us getting 4th with Arsenal finding their form but who know. Di Matteo will hopefully play the young players to give them experience, after all they are the future!

Kez 2,727
Fully behind Robbie. Good luck to him. It's not going to be easy as its clearly obvious who has the power in this club, maybe the players will actually give a shit now as they have a second chance to be here next season (even though most of them dont deserve to be) under a new boss. I'm just praying he has the players respect. Robbie is a legend & it would be disgraceful to see him treated as badly as most managers have. francozola 2,040
There is NO CHANCE that the players actually respect him. If there are good results, it's PURELY because they want to celebrate the ousting of AVB and send the "message" that they have won. Like TX said, what makes you think that the players give two shits about the things that RDM has done at the club
