The Big Drog 1,110
After that result against Everton Id like to see us smash Cardiff. Honestly at this stage Id nearly give the big toe on my left foot to see Gael Kakuta start a first team game for Chelsea , he is Chelsea's great , young hope , after that poor result give us some hope by letting him play against Cardiff. Steve 10,227
Chelsea have confirmed that John Terry will not play in Saturday's FA Cup clash with Cardiff City. The 29-year-old has remained at the heart of the Blues' defence despite facing allegations about his private life and subsequently being stripped of the England captaincy. But assistant manager Ray Wilkins revealed that Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has now given Terry a short leave of absence."John has been given a few days leave by Carlo and he will not play on Saturday," Wilkins toldSky Sports."He will come back and prepare for our game against Wolves on the 20th."They just had a little chat, John and Carlo, and decided that would be the best for all concerned." Ray. 217
Spoke to one of the stewards from the club who was on the coach up to Everton and he was going on about how much trouble there's going to be on Saturday with 6000 Cardiff City Fans and he also mentioned that there are going to be a few Millwall fans joining us. Alex is injured, Beletti & bosingwa also, so Ivanovic can't slot into central defence...Maybe we can see something of Bruma? Sturridge should get a start again, thoroughly deserves it imo. I wonder if we are going to see anything more from Kakuta in this game. And i'm not looking for just 20 minutes or only stoppage time, but a full half or even the whole game! Blueboy 14
I wonder why everybody is upset about Kakuta not being selected? Can understand you would like to see him on the bench. But in my suspicion, he just hasn't been playing so well in training, and that's the reason why Carlo hasn't selected him. Most of the times Ancelotti selects the young players that play well in training, apparently Kakuta has a little dip at the moment.
