hmmm was just thinking in the first half about the dire lack of creativity in the team which is why i chose Cleverley over Chamberline and never been a fan of walker myself but would offer a real threat going forward.

hmmm was just thinking in the first half about the dire lack of creativity in the team which is why i chose Cleverley over Chamberline and never been a fan of walker myself but would offer a real threat going forward.

The problem is, Cleverly has one good game every 10. On any account, you're better off having a formation that puts emphasis on wings since that seems where England are at their most dangerous going forward. If you want a straight swap in that formation, I'd go for Rooney there and play a pure striker up top.

As for Walker, I'm a bit old-fashioned about full backs. If you can't defend, you simply shouldn't be playing in defense. Give me Richards over him or even Smalling at RB any day.

Fucking Rooney wonder goal, Rooney this, Rooney that. He scored via a huge deflection, wtf did he actually do? I wish Hernanes shot had gone in, that woulda been a wonder goal not a fucking deflection.

Overall, pleased with the 2nd half. We did what we were supposed to do and did it well. Beat em at home, drew away. Can't knock it. Now let's actually qualify for this World Cup.

Typical England, the first half was absolutely disgusting, with nothing more than Stoke-esque hoofball for most of the half. Hodgson shows (yet again) that he's incompetent. FFS, why the hell does he feel obliged to park the bus in a friendly?? It's hilarious to see all the knobs over at ITV (Townsend and Tyldsley) absolutely jizzing themselves over a draw in which England only looked good because Brazil were quite shite. Even though it's kind of stating the obvious, neither of these teams will have any chance of winning the world cup.

oh and Johnson is terrible.
