Term-X 7,891
They can, but doesn't mean they will. So technically speaking Sam was never wrong.john terry is president and considering the amount of people on here who would want a move i'm sure it's even more possible considering you can buy up to 10 shares just by visiting our official site.but the principle that it is impossible for the rights to be moved to another ground is false, so as usual I'm rightand considering these shareholders are ordinary fans with money I'm sure they are as like minded as us and understand the need for improvement and progression.if the Chelsea board presented the shareholders with a perfect master plan for a new stadium the majority would vote for it. Ray. 217
I feel it would be a complete disaster for the club to build a completely new stadium. Stamford Bridge is our home and will always be our home. It would never feel the same and also as Kez says to have it called something like the Samsung Arena would be totally wrong. Extension on the current site is our only real option.
Kez 2,727
hold up.. i just proved her point wrong by stating the shareholders can agree to a move, which blows your theory of impossibility out the water completely..I'm not quite sure that you did considering you didnt know that well known fact about our name. You ignorantly laughed at someone's post when he was 100% correct. We dont know what goes on behind closed doors maybe they have tried to agree a move but they want to see us stay at the bridge and wont settle for a move until all possibilities of staying at the bridge are looked at and fail. Kez 2,727
so as usual I'm rightYou need to get over yourself and learn to listen to other people's posts when they make a point. You would see that alot of the time you're wrong.
NattyBlue 44
Don't want to move In all fairness our stadium isn't that bad capacity size anyway, anfield only has a few more thousand than us.Just change the crowd
Badboy 1,526
The only thing is i really dont think roman would agree to us doing a demolition job on the hotels. The hotels as shed head has already said probably generate a lot more cash then what an expansion would.

BlueLion. 21,491
Who gives a fuck about Spurs having a bigger stadium than us? Liverpool, Villa, Arsenal, Sunderland and Newcastle have bigger grounds than us, but does that make them more successful?
NattyBlue 44
Indeed, they can have a nice new stadium like le arse and no trophies to put in it.

Spurs have done nothing in the league for years and I can't see a shiny new stadium changing that

Cameron 30
We should not be moved - most certainly agree with everything written there.
BluesChick 1,260
I'm with Blue Lion... why do we need a new stadium??? So the team can be in debt or indebted to some company??? Stamford Bridge is our home and we need to stay put!!
Shane 2,275
I'd prefer a new Stadium.Bigger Stadium = Bigger Incomeand we can have a proper shed end without the away fans in there, Samsung Stadium sounds like a modern name.Ask Arsenal fans if they'd rather Highbury or The Emirates.
