I think it depends on how Anelka does, whether Drogba makes any more utterances about leaving, and whether Shevchenko and/or Pizarro jump ship. The striker situation should be settled , but seems fragile in terms of consistency.

A striker line up of Drogba, Anelka and Huntelaar would be f**king awesome. It also depends on if in the long run we are going to play 2 strikers or 1....

Would be the bees bollox. Would like any 2 from 3 up front with wingers pushing and receding as and when.

At the risk of using the 'J ' word again -you reading this Cracker, youfuckwit? - with Amsterdam being the Dutch 'Jewish' club, and us with our fair share now ,we probably have a headstart over ManUsa and whoever else is interested. Besides he 's going to look good in Chelsea blue.

Real Madrid striker Huntelaar holds off on Spurs decision to wait for Chelsea's £20m bid

dailymail

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is waiting to see if Chelsea enter a bidding war for his services before he chooses between a move to Tottenham Hotspur or Stuttgart.

Just six months since arriving Real Madrid, the Holland striker is ready to leave after being told he is not part of the new Galacticos era.

Stuttgart have already agreed a fee with Madrid - thought to be £18million plus £2m if they qualify for the Champions League - while Tottenham have been in talks for several weeks.

Arsenal are said to be showing interest after selling Emmanuel Adebayor to Manchester City, but the option that most interests the 25-year-old is a suggestion that Chelsea are ready to make an offer.

Stamford Bridge boss Carlo Ancelotti is known to be an admirer and tried to sign the former Ajax man for AC Milan.

Chelsea are keen to add more attacking options though Huntelaar is not currently their No 1 target. The Blues face losing Ivory Coast forwards Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou as well as midfielders John Mikel Obi and Michael Essien in the middle of next season during the Africa Cup of Nations.

Meanwhile, reports in Italy say Roma will be keen on Huntelaar if they lose Mirko Vucinic to AC Milan.

Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Chelsea have also be linked to Montenegro striker Vucinic.

I'd rather have daniel sturridge than this high wage demanding madrid failure.

not to mention di santo, drogba and anelka.

Yes, but Drogba wont be availible some of next seaosn due to the ACN. therefore, we need more firepower. Though Sturridge looks incredible, Huntelaar has more experience
