Fulham Broadway 17,347
A striker line up of Drogba, Anelka and Huntelaar would be f**king awesome. It also depends on if in the long run we are going to play 2 strikers or 1.... Would be the bees bollox. Would like any 2 from 3 up front with wingers pushing and receding as and when. At the risk of using the 'J ' word again -you reading this Cracker, youfuckwit? - with Amsterdam being the Dutch 'Jewish' club, and us with our fair share now ,we probably have a headstart over ManUsa and whoever else is interested. Besides he 's going to look good in Chelsea blue.
chrismada9 1,948
Get rid of Sheva and Pizarro, bring in the Klass striker Start the next season with Drogba, Anelka and Huntelaar. Would be perfect
Milan 17,963
Real Madrid striker Huntelaar holds off on Spurs decision to wait for Chelsea's £20m bid dailymail Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is waiting to see if Chelsea enter a bidding war for his services before he chooses between a move to Tottenham Hotspur or Stuttgart. Just six months since arriving Real Madrid, the Holland striker is ready to leave after being told he is not part of the new Galacticos era. Stuttgart have already agreed a fee with Madrid - thought to be £18million plus £2m if they qualify for the Champions League - while Tottenham have been in talks for several weeks. Arsenal are said to be showing interest after selling Emmanuel Adebayor to Manchester City, but the option that most interests the 25-year-old is a suggestion that Chelsea are ready to make an offer. Stamford Bridge boss Carlo Ancelotti is known to be an admirer and tried to sign the former Ajax man for AC Milan. Chelsea are keen to add more attacking options though Huntelaar is not currently their No 1 target. The Blues face losing Ivory Coast forwards Didier Drogba and Salomon Kalou as well as midfielders John Mikel Obi and Michael Essien in the middle of next season during the Africa Cup of Nations. Meanwhile, reports in Italy say Roma will be keen on Huntelaar if they lose Mirko Vucinic to AC Milan. Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United and Chelsea have also be linked to Montenegro striker Vucinic.
Term-X 7,891
I'd rather have daniel sturridge than this high wage demanding madrid failure. not to mention di santo, drogba and anelka.
TrueChelseaBlue 105
Corrr, if we can make this bid happen, that'd b the deal of the summer for us so far!
TrueChelseaBlue 105
I'd rather have daniel sturridge than this high wage demanding madrid failure. not to mention di santo, drogba and anelka. Yes, but Drogba wont be availible some of next seaosn due to the ACN. therefore, we need more firepower. Though Sturridge looks incredible, Huntelaar has more experience
Term-X 7,891
shevchenko & pizzaro have more experience I'd rather we kept them instead of buying a 25 year old who's going to ruin sturridge's career.
TrueChelseaBlue 105
Well you do have a good point there about Sturridge. But Pizarro and Shevchenko, i can't really see making much of an impact, but of course, i could be wrong.. We Hate Scouse 10,330
I'd like him but I don't like the £20 million price tag been branded around knock £5 million off that and we got ourselves a bargain.
EskWeston 696
With Drogba, Anelka, Sturridge and Di Santo i can't see us needing a player like Huntelaar, even though i think he would be a decent signing.

BlueLion. 21,491
His lack of pace would kill him in the prem. Agreed. Talented player, but he isn't fast enough. Carragher/Hangeland/Vidic/Ferdinand would have him for breakfast.
Tomlewis7 0
Im afraid its FAIL TIME again...All German newspapers are reporting (and sky sports i think i saw) that he has signed for Stuggart....Another interested too late scenario.
warnie_666 1,081
No more strikers. We need a second striker/playmaker to support the likes of Drogba, Anelka,Sturrdge and Di Santo(if he stays)
TrueChelseaBlue 105
I say give Sturridge ALOT of playing time, after his performance the other day
Shane 2,275
I don't see how you think this can be a bad signing. Huntlaer is one of the most chased after players in the world at the moment, Hence why he is being linked with Man United, Arsenal and Us. Pizarro will probably go on loan or be sold. People are saying Shevchenko is ok on a preseason game against the Seattle Sounders. That would leave us with Sturridge, Anelka, Drogba and Klass Jan. Sturridge and Anelka can play backup left and right wing aswell as Back up strikers. Di Santo should go out on loan because he isn't good enough to play for us yet.
