OneMoSalah 8,965 Posted Tuesday at 22:01 Share Posted Tuesday at 22:01 We will get shagged by any of the PL sides in the semi finals if we perform like that. Definitely not a good performance. Good result though yes. Vesper and mkh

mkh 650 Posted Tuesday at 22:14 Share Posted Tuesday at 22:14 👏First of all, I'm glad to be back at the HF, but we were lucky with our performance today and against Everton, as Everton, like Cardiff today, missed a lot of good chances. Against better opponents, Maresca would have been crushed. Unfortunately, it's no longer fun to watch Marescaball, except against Barcelona. As a fan, you do it anyway! This constantly changing lineup simply doesn't work optimally for our many players. Off to Newcastle🥶, which will be very difficult if we continue to play like this! Special Juan 28,369 Posted yesterday at 09:52 Share Posted yesterday at 09:52 Thank god for a serious amount of money coming from the bench I said a few weeks back Garnacho is proving a lot wrong including me, him and Neto are really pulling it out right now and are our best wide men. Estevao is rested and out the team too much to be factored in, now he is unjured it's Garnacho and Neto are a must start. Gittens is truly awful, I mean last night against League 1 oppo he just looked woeful, can see him fading into the sunset him. First half was as bad as I have seen for ages, the lack of game control against a league 1 opponent was staggering, and I'm talking about basic ball control, keeping possession and making the basic choices right all the time we couldn't even do. I do not want to see us sitting in against Newcastle and if we are going to get beat get beat by having a go. Vesper 30,586
Everything you need to know about why Chelsea midfielder Moises Caicedo must serve a one-match suspension in the Carabao Cup... https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/Chelsea-moises-caicedo-carabao-cup-36419787 Chelsea's Cup success: Enzo Maresca's side advanced to the semi-finals of the Carabao Cup on Tuesday night following a 3-1 victory against Cardiff City. Goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Pedro Neto secured the win and a spot in the competition's final four. Suspension details: Moises Caicedo will be unavailable for the first leg of the semi-final in January after picking up a yellow card during the match. This caution was his second in the competition, triggering an automatic one-match suspension. The quarter-final incident: The booking occurred in the 45th minute when referee Tony Harrington penalised Caicedo for dissent. The midfielder was sanctioned for sarcastically applauding the official's decision to award a free-kick to Cardiff. Previous offence: Caicedo’s first yellow card of the Carabao Cup campaign was received during the previous round against Wolverhampton Wanderers. On that occasion, he was booked for arguing with the referee deep into second-half stoppage time. Timing of the ban: Because the second booking occurred before the semi-final stage, the suspension must be served in the next round. Yellow cards are typically wiped before the semi-finals, but this does not nullify bans triggered by cards accumulated in the quarter-finals. Upcoming fixtures: The semi-final first leg is scheduled for the week of January 12, with the return leg following in early February. Chelsea are set to face either Arsenal or Crystal Palace as they compete for a place in the Wembley final. Impact on the side: Caicedo has become a vital component of Maresca’s midfield and his absence represents a significant blow for the first leg. The manager will now have to find a tactical alternative to replace the Ecuadorian's defensive presence.
