How anyone expects us to be seriously competitive in the long run with that lanky streak of pish Tosin as one of our starting CBs every week, I don’t know. And last season he was a good signing for some because he was free… muppets.

How are players like Colwill, Hato &, Josh even Fofana meant to learn & kick on if he is the starting CB their looking up to 🤣

On a wider note, Maresca has to go we are fucking terrible. We might not even make the next round of the CL at this rate.

I told several time that both are not a upgrade to jackson

Personally was in favor of Ektike, but I was also impressed by the start Joao Pedro made at the CWC.  Dropped completely off the radar after he took on full responsibility of filling in for Palmer/Delap.

Speaking of, we still have to play Barcelona, Atalanta and Napoli.

We would probably need 2 wins out of the 3 to be a decent chance of getting into the playoffs.

And you just know Conte will want some revenge!

"Filling in" for Delap....when Delap is nothing more than a backup striker for a club aiming for top 4.  😆

Delap seemed more ready for a team like Everton (2+ seasons) and then getting a move to a top 6 side once he had some decent goals under his belt

Why the club decided to loan out Jackson and bring in another 'project' striker is honestly laughable.

As for JP, pretty sure he was more effective for Brighton as the second striker or if a front 2 where he would sort of roam and float around rather than being the focal point up front.   Maybe that changes when that Strasbourg striker joins us.

U mean to avoid playoffs? We also have Pafos at home. Last season 11 points was needed to progress to playoffs. This season we are half way and with 4 points you are there. So maybe this season even less. Let's say we beat Pafos and just one point from other 3 games guarantee playoffs. But for top8 yes 3 wins in 4 to have a chance. Extremely unlikely but also not that important.

Yep thats correct, I meant 2 wins in 3 to give us a chance at the top 8 and avoiding playoffs.

We DESPERATELY need to invest however much it takes at the soonest possible opportunity on a world class CB to put in that Tosin spot. Then whoever you play together with that new CB would suddenly look better as we saw all the time with Thiago Silva.

Don’t care how fucking much it costs. Go out and get a calm, classy, commanding CB who is a leader and general on the pitch. An organizer who doesn’t make clown errors and prevents other doing so as much as possible.

Whilst I agree with your sentiments.

What world class CB is out there?

World class players is a term banded about but very few a truly that.

And no top club are going to let their top players leave.

I wonder if we should have gone in for Huljsen, even the he would still have gone for Real.
