So are the people shouting about all the attackers we signed this summer still thinking we could’ve maybe competed for the title 😂Honestly sick of saying it. If you cannot defend, you will not win tight games or get points when you’re not at your best.

Sanchez, Tosin, Fofana….. all 3 BlueCo signings…. all 3 shouldn’t be near the starting 11 for a mid table club yet alone a team competing in Europe. 

Enzo Fernandez another guy who was an absolute liability without the ball and also gave it away so many times when he did have it. Why we keep starting him week in and week out is absolutely baffling. Reece & Joao Pedro only ones who did reasonably well. Rest need a long hard look at themselves, manager included, selection and subs shot us in the foot severely.

Should of just not bothered watching us this season. Style of football is an absolute eyesore. 2-0 & 2-1 down and we are passing it around between GK, CBs & CMs without looking forward/taking too many touches/playing far too slow. Ball possession is only effective when its at a high tempo and allows you to tire the opposition out/beat their press.

The most frustrating part when we scored and we just could not follow up on it and bomb it in. We lacked quality up front but we did not even try to pump in crosses. From the left, well that was dead anyway because we had Gusto there. But when James crossed in, we scored. Then 10 minutes nothing. Then finally another cross and Santos had a chance. Maresca gave us very small chances but we still had no clue whatsoever.

End of the day we aren't winning the league so mehh. The issues have been so clear

As soon as he took palmer Neto and esta off it was clear he had given up, at least give us a chance to score a fucking goal, on a side note palmer looked fucking fuming when he was taken off

And it's annoying that he did. Like I know was unlikely but least give a fighting chance dont give up so early.

Especially when they went to 10 ...we could've got a draw. Hey-ho

I’d settle for a 3-0 loss if it meant they tried, but giving up after 5 mins is crazy

I was seriously excited for this season. I never thought we’d put in a genuine title challenge where we’d be there until the very end but I thought with 100% certainty that we’d finish a respectable 6-9 points behind the eventual champion, comfortably finish in the top 4, and really kick on to build something special for next season.

Now I would be STUNNED if we finish higher than 6th. The Colwill injury and subsequent refusal to replace him with a top CB + Sanchez in goal will kill our season within the first handful of games now. Our defense + keeper have produced catastrophic errors in nearly EVERY game so far this season. 

From extreme optimism to utter calamity in the blink of an eye. If we fail to beat Brighton next I may just give up on the season.

Don’t worry though, there are some fans in here who think we are the second coming of Peps Barca.

The problems are there for all to see but the owners chose to prioritise future sales over all.
