As poor as Sancho has been I think Madueke may frustrate and annoy me even more. Because he is a guy who thinks he’s way better than he actually is.

I’d do a full-on reset of our wide options in the summer. Pedro Neto is the only one I like and want to stay. Sancho can be sent back to United and sell Madueke to the highest bidder.

To be fair, in nearly all of our successful periods we played quite tedious football

Perhaps the double under Carlo was the only exception really.

First half of Conte and Mourinho (2014) title wins was exciting

Tuchel also got us playing good functional football initially. Suited to knockouts.

I get where you're coming from. I just think playing your best players and getting the job done is the smarter move instead of bringing them on in a scenario where we might be chasing the game. Players are far more likely to get injured if they are trying to exert themselves to get on the end of passes, shots, etc.

We just don't have the depth (quality wise) to change half of our squad.

I agree, if we go on and win the game now it could be seen as a success and a failure but watching this game it has 0-0 all over it
