I am here 100% saying the board should go my man They have done a shit job with endless decisions, endless money wasted Personally think Maresca is the best of the managers we've had since Tuchel and no one out there is any better - that will want to work here - while we have this situation with the directors, and the strategy for the club. They know what will happen to them - the same shit will happen on the field, they'll get blamed, and be out. If we sack him because - somehow - we've got one of the world's elite managers willing to come here, and the strategy is changing and the directors are all being replaced - great. But otherwise, we may as well just stick with him - he is in my opinion the least of our problems.

They're not children who need instructions for every move they make and told what to do and not do..how can they not play as a team. It's the slowwww pace. It's the mehhh it's the fuck up in defence. Players making mistake after mistake. Obs gotta look at the manager to but when they keep making stupid errors.. Last season..season before that.. season before that. It's been the same story and nothing is changing. We're gone from being a competing side anymore. They are children, when you think about it. Sancho had a fight with his manager at United and said he wouldn't play for them again, then somehow United offloaded him to us, Nkunku wanted out the whole window (was begging Bayern Munich to take him) and now he's starting again We had to beg Crystal Palace to cancel Chalobah's loan deal as we had no other CB's available other than Disasi Enzo - Caicedo is one of the worst midfield pairings out there. No wonder why Poch put Gallagher-Caicedo together, at least they would run around like crazy. We're swapping goalkeepers for fun half way through the season, i don't see our rivals doing that...unless their GK is injured.
Vesper 30,291
made the right choice (great Valentines Day with wifey) and missed this shitshow we are so fucked, we are weak and so young (no leadership) across the board no even remotely decent CF now until April our back 4 is diabolical we are overrun in MF almost every game and our wingers are shit cannot see us getting top 5 atm (and may drop out of all the European slots) so it may well all come down to winning the Conference League to even get Europa League next season we are going to end up selling Palmer at this rate (when I do not know) as he will not want to play with no CL (perhaps after next season IF we fail thsi year and next to get into the CL) shambolic board, Maresca is out of his depth with this lot as well Edited February 14 by Vesper

erinblue 27
Brighton playing 541 & we have no clue how to beat that...no plan B when playing slow from back is plan A 🙄..Learnt absolutely nothing from last week, was just rinse & repeat with different & probably worse set up.........Tamworth pub team would bate that outfit...no fight or desire....run around & get up a sweat & look like you know what your doing.. dunno how we are so high up or even bate Irish lge outfit Shamrock Rovers..(apologies to Tamworth pub team & shamrock rovers for even disparaging them in this rant).....but a young 18yo showed more desire when he came on...........Apart from glimpses from Enzo & Caicedo.....the rest were meh... wait for our run in from March on🙄....lucky we have hit the 40 mark already or it'd be relegation threat.... Been safer watching Gogglebox ffs 🙄 Looking at the stats......not one shot on target....ffs...... probably had 2 decent crosses that had not one player attacking....push by Enzo (was a harsh free as this happens every week & given) but that's it..... Colwell collapse for third goal was pitiful...lying with his arm up for free as if entitled........JT had more desire in his wee toe than that....jeez he must cringe when he sees that.....as for all the 2004 - 2015 teams..........oh boy did we not know we had a team then than the prima donas of today.....not fit to lace their boots..... It's just a huge mess and really no one until now anyway has been talking about our situation. All been about City..United..Spurs etc. We are just as bad! Just somehow in the top 4 until prob tommrow anyway. But no different to them just helped we had a better start.

Attitude is the issue. Expected with a young team. We really do need some older heads in there to teach these players a thing or two. The attitude is rotten. Well, that's all on the owners & recruiters. We were too quick to move out experienced heads, with title winning experience., to bring down the average age of the squad. For experience, we brought in the likes of Disasi and Sanchez. Hardly cutting edge stuff.

To many individuals at the moment not enough team. You watch forest and see the work the players put into it. They run! They chase the ball they do this and that..us lately oh balls gone stroll around oh look it's a goal for the other lot. Agree we let too many go. There is no leadership anymore and no one really holds their hands up when it goes wrong. We miss that. bigbluewillie

Totally toothless attack and looked completely out of ideas. We were really dreadful towards the end with Tuchel... REALLY dreadful. Most of these managers would never agree to work here under the current regime / strategy (indeed I'm sure several will have rejected us already - Nagelsmann famously did). From the whole list maybe Emery is the only one who is both realistic and could be argued would be better than Maresca - although Arsenal fans would disagree, as they thought he was absolutely terrible in his stint there and couldn't wait to get rid. And for sure, if we sack Maresca and hire any of them - in less than 12 months they're considered terrible, and should be sacked. And another list of the obvious better names we should have got can be produced. Just a cycle of doom. I'm bored of it. We've had almost every top manager going and they got sacked because we figured out they "were shit" - maybe its time we looked at the rest of the club and fixed that first. We didn't have those top managers under the current ownership. Potter was just like Moyes at United, same can probably be said of Maresca by the end of his reign. Poch was the only manager who actually suited the current ownership. 😆
