If we sold those 3 we wouldnt get half of the reported money Citeh offered for JT. And to replace them we'd need to spend twice, maybe more than what we would get for them in the transfer market.

I disagree. Its not only city out there i think if someone come around from like the MLS lets say and made a ridiculous bid for someone like ballack or deco, which i can see happening as teams from that league do look for the has beens to make there league bigger and a few team did take interest in deco and bid ridiculous amounts of money for him when he was at barca but he wanted to come challenge himself with us.

With all this talk of we should sell Terry to City for the right price, I simply don't think he'd go there. And its not because he may or may not love Chelsea FC, I think he does, because he's been the captain for so long and because he always puts the graft in, but because simply City are nowhere near as good a side as Chelsea and it would be detrimental to his career.

that is ridiculous!

my club is a perfect example of this, in 2006 my club went down to serie b and many money grabbers left but others stayed, players like alessandro del piero, gigi buffon, pavel nedved just to name a few. now of these players didnt love the shirt and play for it not money would they have stayed???

no, i beleive john terry is much like these players.

OK...now there you are wrong. Did your club go down because of the financial situation? ala Leeds United? NO. Did Gigi Buffon, Del Piero and Nedved get pay cuts? NO. Did your club need money? NO. That explains it. Had a leeds united situation risen, youwud not have had Del Piero buffon n nedved at your club.

Also, When they got relegatedcus of the match fixing scandal and not financial crisis, Juve wud be nuts to put them on for sale. They needed their three best players to stay.

you obviously do not know how much money we lost, and yes we did need money.

Juve got relegated in 2005-06 - arguably the worst season to go down in, because of the Italian football rights being sold, if I am correct. If they'd have stayed in Serie A, they'd have got somewhere near £30 million in funding, I think.
