Guest justin_3d
Sturridge played as a RW today right?I think Aguero could have played that role, but not going to loose Sturridge for him.
Kostas 1,468
An end of an era no doubt.Who are we kidding we've been linked in Kaka while he changed three (3) clubs and some people still consider him.Aguero is 23. This is far from finished.

Guest justin_3d
From Aguero:Chelsea are a great club. They have become one of the most feared in Europe over recent years. 'I look at players like Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard and they have been - and still are - the best players in their positions in the world. I could really learn from players like that, there is no doubt. 'London would be a really amazing city to live in as well, myself and my wife could be really happy there. Carlos Tevez is doing really well at Manchester City but, for me, it is about joining a club who are ready to challenge for honours. City are not ready yet. 'Inter are a great club, but it is agreed that over the last five years the Premier League has been the strongest.'From Silva:"Chelsea have established themselves as one of the best clubs in Europe over the last five years. They might not have the history of Real Madrid or AC Milan but they are creating their own history now. There is no reason why in the future Chelsea can't be as decorated as Real Madrid. Chelsea probably have, along with Barcelona, the best squad in football and if any player joins Chelsea he knows he is going to win things. In players like John Terry, Frank Lampard and Didier Drogba they have players who would get into any team in the world and it would be a pleasure to play with them. "There is no doubt in my mind that Chelsea would be a great club to play for - and a club where I could fulfil my ambition of league titles and the European Cup. The Premier League is still the place to be, no other league in the world has six or seven Champions League quality teams." I hope not to see something similar happen with Pastore, although he has not mention Chelsea like these two did....

BlueLion. 21,491
The people bitter about City are hypocrites. We did exactly the same when we monopolised the transfer market between 2003 and 2007.

Styles 9,790
I can't wait to see Aguero in the Premier League! Well done City, great signing for them and the league because it seems all the top stars were in Spain or heading there.

We did exactly the same when we monopolised the transfer market between 2003 and 2007.We spent millions for players like Cech, Drogba, Essien, Carvalho etc..They've spent it on Lescott, Barry, Milner, Balotelli, Boateng, Adebayor, Bridge etc..We were winning trophies and were in the top 4 before we were bought, unlike City. No trophies in 35 years and were 10th when they were oiled out.

Every team makes some shit signings, and some brilliant ones.
Randall 315
There is an upside to this, I'd rather we played against Aguero than Tevez, I still feel Tevez is a more dangerous player. If they have both though we're fuckity fucked.

Tevez is just a killer in front of goal and wished we signed him couple of years ago.
