Wouldn't seeing how bad Tevez wants to leave City have a effect on him?

Personally I don't think so, Tevez is leaving for personal reasons. Although he complains about Manchester being wet and there being nothing it's probably because he's a recluse with no social life and hasn't put the effort in looking around and immersing himself in British culture. Between United and City there are endless world class players that have played there and enjoyed themselves, just because Tevez cries I doubt it will have too much of an effect on him, I think he's wiser than that.

Tevez should come to the NY Red Bulls!

There is plenty for him to do at my lovely NYC! blue%20scalf.gif

Anyways on Aguero, i think City will put out their wallet, and A. Madrid will listen.

I don't know Aguero personally so i can't for sure know what his thought process would be. But i do know that a person with Aguero talent could do better then City, with all the things you said City can offer and i am not convinced City is that desirable.

he should sign for the Boston Red Sox then moonlight in the close season for Scumpool ...if he hates Manchester he will love the cesspit on the Mersey

Better than City? I hate them too but I can't see how that is so. They will be challenging for all the trophies next year and have a squad full of some world class players. Only better teams would be us, United, Barca, Real and I don't see any of them getting him.

"I will not return to Atletico, it is clear," he told ESPN (July 13, 2011). "I talked to the club, gave a statement, now my representatives are negotiating my departure from the club. I don't know when the agreement will be, but I will know when the Copa America is finished."

A stay seems out of the equation now. With Juventus talks collapsing, the old lady have maximized their pursuit of G.Rossi, and though a Man City bid seems imminent Aguero has previously suggested he would prefer another club, like Chelsea. This is what he said in 2010:

"Chelsea are a great club. They have become one of the most feared in Europe over recent years. I look at players like Didier Drogba and Frank Lampard and they have been - and still are - the best players in their positions in the world. I could really learn from players like that, there is no doubt. London would be a really amazing city to live in as well, myself and my wife could be really happy there. (I think location is also key, especially after Tevez slating Manchester and the lack of activities available. Aguero has a 2 year old child and Im sure that this could prove to be another vital factor) Carlos Tevez is doing really well at Manchester City but, for me, it is about joining a club who are ready to challenge for honours. City are not ready yet."

City may have won the FA Cup and can offer Champions League, but if we come knocking I have no doubt in my mind that we will take full precedent over City. Real Madrid remain a little worry though with Mourinho recently stating in his pres conference (July 13, 2011) "Neymar is a Santos player, Aguero belongs to Atletico Madrid... Adebayor is at Manchester City, but perhaps he is closer because he was our player for six months," "We should not be very distant from those names, but I am calm because we have a fantastic squad and we are in a very good situation." Yet he did say Real only need one more forward, weather thats on top of Adebayor, or not, the inference was unclear. Furthermore Atletico's president did state that the two clubs have a gentleman's agreement in place for Real not to sign Aguero. Bottom line is Abramovich must splash the cash on Aguero. He has a proven connection with Torres, proven in the Champions League - and is not just brimming with talent, but exercises regularly it too. I think it's fair to say that he's just a star and his acquisition would be one for present and future.

It doesnt matter because they dont want him, but I dont think City are better then Milan, Bayren and Inter as well. we shall se..

Im expect that we will see a lot of great forces next season. After this season it was Barca, some from Real and United, and all the rest.

"At the moment I am waiting because if we lose Carlos, Aguero is a player that can play for Manchester City because he is young, because he is a good player like Carlos, he can score a lot of goals and can play with Mario [balotelli], with Edin [Dzeko]," Mancini told Sky Sports News. :readthemessage: (he also said something about Nasri)

That strike force could be deadly, we must do whatever we can to get Aguero. Frustrating that we haven't had any links with the player recently, from credible sources at least. I still mantain that if we come knocking we would be his preferred club. Especially since we have been after him before and he has overtly complemented us unlike City, he knows Torres, and even Tevez, and the constant advantage of living in London :P
