i think city will land him. As far as neymar is concerned i am not sure whether we can get him. barca also join the race. it is also possible that he will stay in Brazil

I like the tribute to the fans.

He's given them a great few years and for him to stay even this long shows how committed and how much he loves Athletico Madrid. After reading his farewell, I'm convinced he won't go to Real Madrid, he simply loves Leti too much.

If we want him, we have a real chance now. Yet with our squad, I don't see the point. If we do it's goodbye Neymar &/or Sturridge.

But, Aguero-Torres could work out much better. They can reunite their old partnership, and we can grow a big fan base in the Athleti camp!

Depends on who is leaving first, imo.

I think amongst the board they already know who is leaving and who is staying,coming in.

I would prefer if we got Agüero rather than Neymar. Agüero is a determined, quiet, polite player. Neymar has his moody days, does have sort a diver image to him. I'm sure they'd both fit in and do a great job in the Premier League but my preferance would be Agüero. (Prices,wages should be about the same as well.)

If Roman really wants to do everything to get Torres going, then he HAS to get Aguero no question about it. Even if it is at the expense of Neymar.

Aguero is more of a team player than Neymar anyway, and will surely get Torres involved like he did with Forlan. He can also score with the best of them, and is still just 23.

Only stumbling block is the amount Atletico will want, don't see us paying 45m at all.

That means Drogba and anelka and possibly Kalou would all have to leave and we woud most likely have to spend about 80 million to land them both , i cant see us doing that after the winter transfer window.

We have

Torres , Drog , Anelka , Kalou , Danny

If we brought in these two , at least 3 would have to go , as i cant see Drogba or even Danny now , warming the bench. Sturridge has said he want first team football now.

I honestly dont see us signing a striker this summer...

Could work, but seriously, 70m + on 2 extra forwards, when we have not even addressed our midfield situation? Don't see that happening.
