Robinho

It is possible but i would have thought not very likely. If Robinho is pushing for a move as much as the press claim then Madrid know that they are dealing with an unhappy player. I am sure they will go for £30m to £35m which i am sure we will stretch to also if we need to.

Which would be overpriced ......but if the cash is there, and Scolari sees him as integral to his plans.... then pay the Chelsea price

I am sure Chelsea already have their cut off point in mind, obviously it depends on how much Scolari has convinced the board he needs Robinho - which is pretty high i would have thought. Madrid play a lot of games to look better to their fans, i am sure this will get done but it will more than likely be a last minute deal.

He would certainly open up a few defences. Madrid are such cunts, we didnt fuck them about with Robben. The money could be just as well spent on fucking fergie off and gazumping them for Berbatov...

Would be funny but we need wide players who are top top class.

Well we made sure we got the most possible for Robben and Madrid will do the same, but when the player is determined to go they wll accept at some point. Robinho at his age now is ideal to become a massive star and do it while playing for us getting the best years out of him.

Reports on SSN says Madrid are willing to let him go for around 40m Euros.

Whats that, just under 30m ?

Just over!

If that is the case then, we may well end up paying it. And i think for a 24 year old star like Robinho it isn't a bad price.

I agree Esk, We could get years of very skillful service out of him. Shit maybe even sell him on for a profit in five years. Well we did buy Sheva at that price at that age, so you never know.

So many different stories surrounding this possible transfer. It appears the Madrid Match against Valencia could be very telling, if he isn't there than that is a good sign that he will indeed be moving to us. £30m isn't a bad price for Robinho when you consider the ability of the player, obviously people will have different opinions on the player and the fee paid but for me Robinho will make our squad complete.

La Marca (spanish paper)

The Brazilian Robinho has refused to travel with Real Madrid for their forthcoming Spanish Super Cup fixture and will be allowed to join Chelsea for £32 million....

Is that a new story, because the Marca and AS stories have been doing the rounds all day, one saying he is going to accept a new contract and the other saying he will not travel and join us instead for £32m.

Still 2 weeks to get this transfer done i am sure there is plenty to go in this one
