the wes 7,212
the talk is that Chelsea are to replace bridge with Yuri Zhirkov who can play as a left-back or left-winger
riks12 3
Not the biggest fan of Russian players (No, I'm not a racist or somtehing..), but I think it would be a good deal. I really like Bridge and I think he has got some skills, but it would be great to have a player, who can play both FB and Winger roles. I'm sure he is better than Malouda.. chrismada9 1,948
Hmmm, not happy with Bridge leaving us. I still believe he is the better left back at Chelsea. If it's anyone who should be going it's Ashley Cole!! and Bridge is definitely leaving. BBC have broken the news now

the wes 7,212
£12m is a lot money for a squad player Chelsea would be silly to turn down £12m
chrismada9 1,948
yeah I have to say, £12m for a player who hardly plays for us is tempting I see a £10m bid for Luis Fabiano on the way
Steve 10,227
£12m is alot of cash, but we all know its exactly what hes worth. To be honest i will be sad to see him go, He was a player who gave his all for the club when he got the chance to play, he did have his ups and downs but what can you expect from a player who starts a game every few months. Good luck to you Wayne i hope you do well for the rest of the season a Man City Edited January 2, 2009 by STEV3O
Laylabelle 9,539
never forget the Arsenal goal.. Well hope to god now what they were saying on Skysports also aint true..that we arent gana sign anyone in the window cause if thats the case and we're letting players go,we could be fucked with injuries
Aesthetic Relic 301
Good luck to him. I've always prefered Bridge to Ash. Not because of his Arsenal links but because I feel he can offer more to the team going forward. His quality of crosses are excellent compared to Ash who continues to miss-hit 9/10 crosses he puts into the box. He's a model professional imo. He never complained and was always there to do a job when called upon.

spuz 143
We should have taken him on loan and offered to pay his £90k a week wages. He was class against Arsenal today. He should have gone to the world cup,we could have won it with him. I blame Terry for us losing the world cup. And now not signing Bridge in the transfer window will cost us the league. :bs_spam:
