Lampard will probably use this. Still question marks over Tammy for me, and if his lack of technical ability would suit our system.

Tammy

CHO-----------------Pulisic

RLC----Kante

Jorginho

Emerson---Luiz---Rudiger----Dave

Kepa

I don't see any manager in the world except for sarri who will choose jorginho over Kante as the dm

You honestly think Lamps will have the balls to permadrop his buddy Willian?

Willian and Pedro are nowhere near Hazard's bracket of being undroppable. Ironically we're almost certain to start the season with Willian and Pedro as CHO will not likely be fit (or at the very least will need slowly integrating back in) and Pulisic will need a period of adaptation and I think will miss some of pre-season due to the Gold Cup with America.

I think all four will be rotated and given opportunities and then it's down to who is performing best to get given the nod.

Expect Ranieri, Conte, and now Sarri, had Kante play as the aggressor high up the pitch. This myth that Kante is a DM is an absurd one.

A midfield of RLC, Jorginho, and Kante is perfectly balanced.

I would hope a person like Lampard, who was a very productive player in the final third, realises how unproductive Willian is and drops him.

Why is Willian his buddy? They've spent a season together.

Raneiri had DD behind Kante, Conte had matic. Moreover both of those managers played a double pivot. Playing in a 3 with only one proper DM is a completely different ball game. Essien was a not a DM too, but given the personnel, he was the best choice and one of the best that played.

If any manager comes in and plays Kante as a lone DM i will instantly question their ability as a coach, it neglects his biggest attribute.

Most managers who want to play on the front foot will value Jorginho as the DLP.

100%

Still can't believe pundits like Rio Ferdinand, Gary Lineker, Alan Shearer, Jermaine Jenas etc all thought Kante was a DM and should of played there at the start of the season. Hes never played as a sitter in his days in the PL except 4 games under Conte before we changed to 343..... these guys are paid to give opinions/discuss football on the tv... mental

In Germany Rangnick is rumoured to be a candidate for the job. For those who do not know him, he was at the helm for the investor-backed hoffenheim and rb leipzig project leading them from the lower leagues to el places in alternating positions as coach/technical director. His style is pressing and winning the ball high and then attacking as quickly as possible or sitting deep and counter attacking. He either plays 4-3-3 or 4-4-2 but is overall postionally flexible, just demands high work ethic. He is adept at identifying and developing talent, not at all a cheque book manager but would spend on young and upcoming players.  I also thought hard about him but  before but he usually had full backing of owner and board so this job may be out of his depth. No easy character but one of the sharpest footballing minds in Germany.

Interesting choice if it were to happen...definitely sounds more inspiring than Allegri or some of the other names thrown about.

Actually think it may be a good laugh if we went and appointed Tony Pulis. Long balls/huge throw ins to Giroud every match, Bakayoko clattering people chasing after his first touch, Alonso doing his best Erik Pieters impression and Willian being Willian.

Na we need to get another manager sorted now Sarri to Juve is all but done basically. If its gonna be Frank then get it wrapped up quickly. If not, dont dwindle and get someone else in. If we dont get Frank then I dont know where we go from here seeing as Allegri wants to take a year off. Steve Holland definitely a wild card but couldnt see us realistically approaching him. Mourinho? I doubt that will happen. Nuno? Cant see it either. Javi Gracia? Please no. Its really looking quite bleak isn't it?
