I think Morocco has a solid chance regardless of the XI.

I disagree… Morocco won’t be able to handle portugal playing like they did today.

yes, Morocco may be able to make it difficult for portugal, but I know where my money is going.

Hopefully Portugal now realize how much stronger they are without Penaldo. Everything significant they ever achieved was without Penaldo on the pitch(mostly their 2016 euros win) while all their most humiliating losses (like losing vs Germany like 6 times in a row at major tournaments) came while carrying him.

What a result, now this is the Portugal i know and love, this is the way i know they can play and want them to play, no more relying on Ronaldo, its time for the new generation to shine. Fernando Santos needs to realize this.

There's an underdog for a reason. Morocco shouldn't have gotten out of their group, beaten Spain, etc. If Ronaldo starts for Portugal, it will play into Morocco's hands.

Morocco is a defensive side but to score against them is a big big problem for anyone.
Up front not much. They managed to break away once or twice but they could n't even attempt a shot at goal - their forwards panicked and lost the ball (it was n't Ziyech).

Not only that, but our back line and midfield are all technical footballers. Very good under a press.

It's in attack where we struggle. El Nesyri is good, but not great, and our depth in attack is utterly poor.

Santos' Portugal has been built on being solid defensively and hoping for something to give or a flash of Ronaldo magic. The outcome of this match largely depends on which side Santos ultimately puts out.
