I’ll get flamed for posting this but his centre of gravity, shielding of the ball, etc is very reminiscent of Hazard.

I don’t think his control is at that level but he looks a bull and hard to knock off the ball.

Please consider yourself flamed then. 😆

Honestly, he resembles Odoi a lot, which isn't a bad thing.. really! Odoi did not develop as well as we hoped, but he did show a lot of promise -- so much so it caught Bayern attention at some point.

On the other hand, it's the same situ: as much promise as he shows in the vids, what he does from now on is far more important than what he's done so far. The life of an elite footballer.

That was down to injuries at the wrong time of his development and then for some reason he was being re-trained as a wing back to satisfy the manager in charge at that point in time...

The weirdest part was that we replaced him with players who are the same quality as him (Mudryk & Madueke).   Normally when you sell players, you want an upgrade or at least a more well rounded player....but CHO is no worse than either of the wingers we ended up spending 100 million on...

agreed. I think skill wise Odoi is far superior to both actually. Mudryk has the pace Odoi lost, and Madueke is fairly physical.

Can he play LW?

This is the problem. Our best player Palmer is RW and most talented wingers we have Hutchinson, Angelo and Paez all RW exclusively. But for LW we have only trash in Sterling and Mudryk.

Wirtz and Kvara the best options.

Scored again , he’s so clear of madueke

Ultimately we're going to have to rely on players like Hutchinson (provided Clownlake doesn't think of selling him for a profit), to pull us out of this rut.

The next transfer window is likely going to be slow. The club won't have enough funds to chase quality wingers AND bring in a top notch striker.
