People would probably say he had a decent game today. Well I guess according to his abysmal standards I would say yes maybe but in the bigger scope of things he was just average at best maybe even disappointing getting beaten numerous times by Martial.

One thing I can't fathom is how many crossing opportunities this donkey gets in a game. I mean he is probably the worst crosser in our team yet he seems to cross the ball the most. Imagine if we had a decent RB that could cross. Definitely 1 assist per game I would say!

Except Martial did destroy him. Even a finished Rooney easily went past him.

Under Hiddink, he's gone from a car crash to an accident waiting to happen... a shameful 2/10 up to a consistent 5/10... still utterly shit, but improvement nonetheless.

Managed to spoil what was an otherwise excellent performance by losing Cavani for their second goal. Having said that, he WAS vastly superior at CB tonight than he usually is at RB this season

He's been exclusively playing RB like forever... Can't expect him to seamlessly switch to CB for a tough match like this one.

Don't laugh at me but I actually think that he's Chelsea's best defender as long as you keep him away from going forward and crossing like a nutter. He's no full back nowadays, he can't deal with pacey wingers anymore. Terry and Ivanovic should be the centre backs as soon as JT is fit again.
